70's film. Some good flying scenes. Little dated. Good.

De Havilland's were arguably one of Britain's unsung aviation treasures, subsumed into the now BA conglomerate. The DVD film engages in one of the more romantic episodes of WWII, takes quite a lot of poetic liberty, but retains the essential truth that conflict and strife kill and maime while creating remarkable advances in the means to achieve it.
Some contemporary analogue-to-digital conversions offer a high quality language dubbing; this is one such and quite effective too.
