Morphy Richards Orb Cyclone 73172 Canister Vacuum

Buy buying this faulty vac I've given my own another 5 years of use and have a load of spares if needed, well worth the money.

+++++ Great little vac - my wife has had one for the past 3 yrs and finally after lots of abuse the motor burnt out. When I asked her what she wanted next she said the same - got one for £12.99 + p&p, so who's complaining +++++

I like the light cleaner, it can get everywhere and is so easy on stairs, ater falling down stairs with a large upright, this feels so safe to deal with, and it does get the bits and pieces by the edge of the skirting board. It is noisy but arn't they all. It is so easy to store away the cord, and the parts fit away so neat and tidy. Almost fun to use.

Mine was very cheap (£13 incl carriage). I bought it as a spare for jobs like vaccing the car or cellar, which I did not want to risk the main vac on.

It is small and fairly cheaply made and fairly noisy, but works effectively so far. It has a couple of small on-board tools. It has a variable motor speed and a nice air-powered rotating upholstry brush.

Bagless system works OK, though I can't really understand the popularity of bagless cleaners - all it means is that you inhale half the dust while you are trying to empty it out and clean off the filter: how much better to have a bag which filters the dust and which goes straight into the bin unopened.

The hoover that does what it says on the box. I have a wee Jack Russell terrier that constantly casts his coat, you just cant keep up with him I thought people may start to think that my hall carpet was mohair I just could'nt get all the hair off of it. But now with the Morphy Richards Orb I don't have any more worries it takes it right off and with the added bonus of being bagless I can see when it's needing changed without having to strip haLF the hoover off. A great buy would recommened to any pet owner.

I wanted a new cleaner and knew I couldn`t afford another Dyson,so I went for a name that has always given me good,reliable equipment before. It is compact and gives as good suction as the previous cleaner. The jug cleaner is better than the Dyson system-not so fiddely to empty. The cleaning of the filter is not so good(the fluff and larger debris tends to stick between the gaps).Stores easily but the catch for the rotary brush is too near the pipe seam and it tends to fall out.
The main pipe is too flimsy and easily twists to cause a blockage and stops the air-flow. Could be made of a more robust material!!
Like the way it removes the hair and dust when the rotary brush is used.
I am pleased with how it works,for the price I paid,but I don`t think it`s worth the full price, purely because the accessories are (especially the main pipe)of a poor quality.
