A Warning To Mojave 3 Fans

I remember the Mark Radcliffe session Mojave 3 did for Radio 1 back in 1995.I was totally spellbound, and upon hearing their 1st CD "Ask Me Tommorrow"i was totally hooked.Their 2nd CD "Out Of Tune" was even better, and their 3rd "Excuses For Travellers" is a masterpiece. There followed "Spoon and Rafter",which i rate alongside "Dark Side of the Moon",by The Floyd,it truly is an astonishing CD.I filled in the gaps with Neil Halstead's solo CD,which is also top notch, along with Rachel Goswell's solo CD.
I tried going back in time to Slowdive, but,it's not the kind of stuff i like, basically.
So,i eagerly awaited Mojave's latest offering, was heartbroken when the release date kept slipping, but finally it came out in the beginning of June.
And boy,was i disappointed!..it truly is a crap album,i couldn't believe my ears.Gone was the stoned, hazy, easy going tunes, and in was this horrid "Cheapo Indie-Pop/Boyband" that would'nt even make it onto a Hanson record.
Honestly,i kid you not...this is the worst cd i have owned, since i stole a Luther Vandross cd from Woolworths.
Save your money, and spend it down Oxfam instead.
