Reviews Review created: 04/07/08 by: probably their bes and most underrated album. from the opening track for tommorrow to the close resigned this is an album which outshines alot of the copycat britpop stuff that followed it. Very inventive and full of good tunes. They were not trying to leap on a bandwagon so it sound fresh. The extra track are also good, I don't know why popscene was not included in the first place. A picture of 90's england with wit and knowledge. cool album. Review ID: 10000000007800087 Was this review helpful? Damon comes into his own as a song writer, great production from Stephen Street, and Coxon's guitar compliments Albarn's melodic hooks beautifully. In short, alongside Suede's debut, one of the most important albums of the nineties. Review ID: 10000000005353146 Was this review helpful? Brought back memories of school 10 years ago! Review ID: 10000000003671280 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
