Moby - Play (CD 1999)

This is the most chilled out album. I first heard this in Australia when travelling in an underground internet cafe with bright read walls a pool table and sofas. This is ideal chillin experience, so smooth. I highly recommend this album!

Great album, as usual Moby delivers a superb offering of melodic beats to chill you out during your day. No disappointments at all, this man is a legend.

Along with 18 by Moby this is a modern classic.
Most people have heard at least 1 tune from the album,even if they didnt know it.

I purchased this CD due to the song Porcelain that is part of the music track to the Beach movie... However when listening to the rest of the album, all the songs are fantastic. If you want relaxing music thats got a beat to it, then this is the album for you!

Like him or loathe him, I would consider Moby one of the most successful recording artists of our generations. Everyone knows Moby, not necessarily him, or what he looks like, but definitely his music, its everywhere.

Some would call it selling his soul to the devil, others smart marketing, me - well I love his music, so any chance to listen to it - even with a car zooming across the screen is fine by me.

Melodic, soulful and quite honestly downright depressing in places, this is an album I play, when I am in one of "those moods" - not in the mood for something upbeat, but want to listen to music.

I consider Play to be Moby's best album, a cornucopia of hits fused together in an album which needs listening too in full, not track selecting.

I bought this album about 9 years or so ago when it first came out and absolutely loved it. I was still playing it often until recently, but I played it so much the cd got badly scratched and worn out so I had to look on here to get a replacement. The songs are not all of the same sound or style, they are all very different and so this album provides a lot of variety for a variety of different people to enjoy. Some people feel that it is a negative that all these songs have been used on television advertisements but I disagree, I think it can actually be considered as a positive because it gives people something extra to relate to. This album is as good now as it was in 1999, well worth a listen - 5/5.

I bought the cd becouse it is very good music for me . I can relaxed and rested when I listen it. There is a lot of different songs and I can think abuut the past and my frieds.

Moby (Play) is without a doubt Moby at his Finest Hour!!! This compilation album is composed beautifully and puts Moby right up there with the best of them. I used to own this album on cassette which I seem to have misplaced, but this score is that good I decided to buy it again, but on CD. Also for any of you 007 Fans out there that like Moby, you will love some of the Bond Remix's he produces, they are literally 'The Best of The Best'.

This is a replacment buy as the other one was so old and scratched.... still sounds fresh and modern 9 years on.....

bought this album when it first came out but during two house moves have lost the first one... sometimes like to listen to old albums and this was a favourite at the time.

A fantastic Cd, very easy listening, a good sunday cd to chill from the week.
Would recomend to any ebayer.
