I saw this film on tv and decided I wanted a copy. The prformances of Tommy Lee Jones and Kate Blanchard are first class and it gives another dimension to what life must have been like in the "old west." The fact that it is a woman who instigates the rescue of her daughter and other captives just shows how much women were depended upon in that life. I would have no problem recommending this film to anyone who has an interest in how life was in the real west.

I bought this film not really understanding what I was buying, I had read the write-up, and was mislead by the picture on the cover into thinking it was a modern thriller. It is set in the 1880's which was a bit of a shock to me.
That aside I still enjoyed the film, has a bit of everything in it, not sure if "chilling suspense thriller" are the words I would have used, but it is very watchable and well acted.

I bought this DVD as i wanted to watch some random thrillers , it is a very deep, intricate film but kept me watching it all the way through - I wouls recommend it to anyone to watch (Obviously over the age of 15 years old tho)

I am a collector of Native American films, the reason I bought it was I missed
the 1st half of the movie when it was shown recently on TV. I thought it was a
great movie and had to see the full movie, I enjoyed it very much and will watch it again and again thanks to ebay . rfoster2006 .

This DVD had a good read-up. The film was good, interesting but not all engrosing. Very Happy with this purchase though.
