An excellent album showcasing the man's true talent

I bought Guitars because I've read the background and I liked the idea of an album created purely from the sounds made by the guitar. There are no other instruments on this album - Mike has used tape loops and effects to build a rich symphony of sound to support his excellent compositions. This album shows off all of Mike's skills and his astonishing virtuosity. Definitely worth owning.

) Mediocre.42 minutes of doodling on the guitar,quite pleasant but unimpressive.It reminds me of some of his earlier albums though not as good.If you are looking for quality guitar cds I would recommend Paco de Lucia,Bill Frisell,John Scofield,etc.
