Reviews  Mariah Carey - Merry Christmas (CD 2007)Review created: 06/03/08 by:  I wasn't particularly looking for a CD to purchase, to be honest I pressed the wrong categorie and found myself then searching through the CD's. I then started to probe my mind as to what CD's I wanted to get again, I had my CD's stolen from my home in a burglary about 15 yrs ago. I didn't think for one minute I could still get the Mariah Carey - Merry Crhistmas CD, it was a very long time ago when I first listened to it with my then very young daughters. The CD brought back many very happy memories of the times at christmas when my 3 daughter's and myself would all sing along with the CD, especially the track 'Oh Holy Night', I decided then to try looking for it on the search engine, and to my complete shock, amazement and elated joy there it was for sale. I quickly placed a bid on it and it was extremely very cheap @ £2+ It didn't take long for it to be delivered and there I was again, despite christmas being long gone, singing along to the tracks and re-living the happy memories of the times when my daughter's and I sang along to them as well. Report this review Mariah Carey's christmas albumThis album is must for all Mariah fans. It has a nice balance of both new songs and traditional christmas carols. I was a bit unsure of how Mariah's musical style would blend with the carols, but her beautiful voice has only enhanced their appeal. Once u have listened to this, no other xmas album will comapare!MC was born to sing these tracks and amke this album. Her vocal abilities are amazing, and each and eevry song is sung with real passion! This is a real must for absolutely anyone!!! It was re-released in 2005 in Japan, witha bonus dvd, of live performances and videos related to the xmas tracks! Rare and hard to find, but a must for real Mimi fans!!! Definately check it out!!
