Memphis Belle (DVD 2000)

great film seen it before thats why i bought it on e-bay , i dislike writing these reviews they are a pain but i have yet to figure out how to by pass the annoying things to get them off my ebay display

I've seen this movie countless times, it's one of the reason I became aeroplane-crazy as I grew up.A spectacular movie depicting the final, 25th mission of the crew of a B-17F of the 8th AF called "Memphis Belle". It's the last mission they have to survive in order to go home, but it's not a milk run at all.
A must see for everyone who is into history or airplanes.

Great film with lots of great character actors that are known from other roles.They are someone You can`t help feeling that Your getting to know as the movie rolls.Lots of fantastic filming and funny/serious conversation ang big feelings.Fantastic movie that I have seen before and had to have om dvd.

DVDS SUCH AS THIS IS A MUST FOR ONES COLLECTION OF ACTION MOVIES IT ONE THAT WILL NOT BE WATCH FOR A WHILE BUT IS AS EXCITING AS THE FIRST TIME YOU VIEWED IT .
FOR THE REALLY WANT DVDS EBAY IS THE PLACE TO GET IT!

an all action suspence war film that is a great tribute to the young men who flew into dangerous skies at a very young age

This is my favourite film of all time and I have been trying to get it for months, not only did I manage to buy one off ebay but it was brand new and very cheap. Very pleased with my purchase.

my dvd came to me in great condition, it arrive fast and in great packaging.
i bought this dvd because of a request from my 12 year old son who is interested in the great wars, he has watched it over and over again and has loved every minute of it. the price and condition i would highly recommend. many thanks to the supplier

Having found this dvd ..just had to buy it for my other half as he loves the film .he was delighted with it.he has watched it a number of times since i got it for him ..

All films are down to personal taste. I love this one for its superb portrayal of ordinary young men 'in extremis'. Unfortunately, still appropriate today

I have started buying old films especially with the advent of Ebay and all the sellers that now deal on there. Its great to have films at your fingertips and reasonably priced as well.

This is a film I have enjoyed on TV on many occasions. I have just bought a DVD (my first!) and cinema sound with an LCD TV and immediately bought a selection of my favourite films. I put what I thought was a fair bid on this second hand DVD and won the auction.

Although the film is typical American 'gun ho' with historical errors it is a good watch adventure film as the crew of the American bomber 'Memphis Belle' attempt to complete their 25th and final mission before being taken 'Stateside' for a promotion tour. The surround sound is spectacular during the battle scenes and the special effects are good, although a bit dated compared to more recent films.

There are no top stars in this film, which I think helps you identify with the characters. If you enjoy a good war film that is not too gory, I recommend this to you.

If you are into war films like myself this film is a must see and should be in any war film dvd collection. The film is set during WW2 and is centred around a group of young men who make up the aircrew of the Memphis Belle bombing Germany. You will be taken on a rollercoaster ride of action and emotions felt by each of the crew ranging from fear to typical youthful bravado and invincibility, will they survive there last mission?.... add this film to your collection and see!!

had the film on video no longer have the video player and as i went to DUXFORD
and saw the the plane it reminded me to replace the video with a Dvd

I have strong feelings when it comes to world war 2 and what happened. I love the story of the Belle and the film is the only real film that tells that story so far. For it's time, it's a great film and does the job, it lets you step into the shoes of those brave young boys who made a difference.

I bought this dvd because i use to own it on video. i now own a dvd player and thought it about time i updated. I bought this dvd because the price was very good and i like the film very much. i also bought it because i like the convenience of arm chair shopping. there is nothing i dislike about it at all.

Having sorted out my Video collection, I needed this DVD to replace the video version. I was impressed not only with the quality of the product, but the way the seller packaged and despatched it promptly.

Love this movie, reminds me of when i was a kid. Also Harry Connick Jnr is a fab singer, and totally gorgeous!

I wanted this title and got it on Ebay like most thing you find hard to get else where it is available here.
10/10 for this dvd film.
Factual to a point and well worth the time to watch time and time again.
One to keep for a rainy day

had this on video but wanted it on dvd, both me and my 12 year old son are avid fans of the 1940s and aircraft from that era
I rate this as another all time favourite film, brillaintly made and very true to life, gripping all the way through
