Medium - Series 1 - Complete (DVD)

i was very happy with the product and look forward to start at the beggining.

i decided to buy this series as i got intrested when the programme was on the television but had missed most of series one.

Medium stars Patricia Arquette (Alison) who sees dead people and dreams of them wanting help with mainly the person who murded them and with alison in the police/lawyer buissness she does just that and puts them away.

This item was exactly as described in the listing. I’m a UK ex-pat living in France and the item arrived within 3 days (which I consider extremely fast for UK postage to France) it was very well packed in a bubble wrap jiffy bag. Upon initial inspection of the actual disks they looked like they were brand new and not a finger print or smudge on them. Al in all my buying experience with this eBay seller was a very good and everything went very smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.

this dvd gripped me from the start, i am so addicted i have now ordered season 2 and 3, go for it you wont regret it.i bought it because i love anything to do with the supernatural and this is the best.

This is the best of all the Medium series and depicts the stresses that Alison goes through because of her gift. These stresses range from the disbelief of the D.A. office and officials to the strain it put on her marriage and family life. The series also shows the pain that Alison endures and her wish that she was not as she is.
This is not just a run of the mill series and I would highly recommend it to anyone

You might think that a series about dead bodies would be depressing, but this uses a lot of humour and family interation so that it isn't! Occasionally a bit scarry but nothing too dreadful (I don't do scary!) I am really enjoying it. Makes a nice new take on the detective genre. Great acting too and I really care about Alison and her family.

this series is great to watch from the very beginging, it is the type that you want to watch over and over, it is fully packed with police action while she struggles with the problems with her own daughters gifts, fantastic

Loved it, ispired me to go out and buy series 2 cos it was that good. I know the idea isn't original but it's done so well

I love this dvd and the series as it is very lifelike and they keep it real.

They seem like a real family and it does not take long for you to feel empathy for them.

I have seen all of the series on tv, however owning it on dvd means i can watch it as much when i want.

It tells how Alison the main chaticter first became involved in helping the police solve murders by the dreams she has of crimes or murders that have been commited, sees things the police did not know about the crime,this gives them the evedence the need to charge the killer.

Gr8 series, based on life story of Alison Dubois, a medium who helped police solve cases in America, which includes her family life.

money well spent,never seen this series before but really enjoyed it 10/10 for all you into supernatural.

I love to watch the chemistry between the actors Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber. The each story have a slight twist to its ending. I love watching the programme because you want to believe there is life after death. Watch the programme give it a chance; it may change your view on the afterlife.

Having stumbled across Medium at some indeterminable point on the BBC I was hooked, from then on I was and was picking it up via the Sci Fi channel and the BBC at the same but never really knowing what series I was catching. The Series 1 DVD’s contain what all good series should have within them, the pilot episode. If you are already a fan and like me have seen a jumble of episodes that sort of relate to each other but “wouldn’t it be nice to see where he/she first came in” then Series 1 is the ideal tool for introducing everything! An entertaining, well scripted, superbly acted and highly recommended buy.

I bought Medium for my sister as a Xmas present as she love's, as do I. It's a great show that keeps me hooked all the way through with superb acting. Anyone who hasn't seen it is missing a treat. Don't think of it as "one of them phsyic shows!" but as great entertainment introducing you into something you wouldn't normally watch. I got a great deal on this on ebay only paying about £10, when it is £38 new. Really pleased.

This is a fantastic show which appealed to me alot. I saw it on TV and knew I needed to buy the set so I could watch it over and over again.

The way Alison can sense feelings from people just from being in their presence is amazing. Wish I could do that sometimes. Medium is quite similar to The Dead Zone which is also a favourite of mine.

I love this DVd as I am hooked on the series 2 currently showing on SCI-FI channel. This dvd for season one gives Alison's story right from starting work at the district attorneys office. I bought it for myself to catch up on the story and have lent it to my Mum who's now hooked too ! The best part of all there are no adverts to interrupt the episodes!!!

What a greatly underrated series this is! great acting from all the main cast,stories that twist and turn and an adult level of realism (a nice change from the usual watered down tosh.The first season box set was a must have,and highly recommended.When i have watched the second series i will review it and let you know about it,but i think it will equal if not excel the original.
If you are as lucky as me to get it for under £20 i think you will equal my best dvd buy of the year.evilc
