I am an avid, some would say obsesive, Pink Floyd collector.I like to get stuff from all over the world, and even though i have this album and c d. Getting it on a label from overseas means a lot to me. I think i made a great purchase, It came in AA condition and is a brilliant addition to my collection. The main reason for my buying it is that i had never heard of the label that is on.

Great album; CD purchased to supplement 12" disc in collection. As a follower of Floyd for many years I especially like the track 'Echoes'.

This is really the transition album between the old Pink Floyd with Sid Barrett influences and the more arty Floyd using varied soundscapes and a more contempory melodic pace to their music.
This is illustrated by the tracks on this album....
"One Of These Days" and "Echoes" highlight the newer direction, while the remaining tracks are hangers on from a previous vintage....
In my opinion, not a brilliant album, but worth buying for those two tracks alone

I decided to buy this CD as my old LP record was just about worn out. I tend to shy clear of a lot of remastered CDs as several seem to lose a lot of the original recorded balances. This recording, however, sounds as good as the vinyl copies ever did. Nothing has been lost in the transcription.
Worth every penny.

purchased this as a copy for the car ,as I have had it on vinyl since the early to mid 70's I must have listened to it hundreds of times , yet when you haven't played it for a few months all the memories of the original first ever listening come back . One of my top ten fave albums of all times, this cd was value for money well packaged and quickly sent . 10 out of 10 all round !

) This is an interesting collection. I think the first post-Syd Barratt album where the band really came together. Some of it is a bit cheesy, but there are also beautiful, intelligent lyrics and you can almost hear all the beauty of 'Dark Side of the Moon' starting to break through, too. I'd never heard it so I had to have it. A must for all Floyd fans. Not sure about the album cover, though. Legend has it that it's a close-up shot of a baboon's anus, but I think maybe it's an ear, perhaps a nose. Wierd. But that's what it's all about, really!
