Maroon 5 - It Won't Be Soon Before Long (CD 2007)

With a debut album like "Songs about Jane" it was always going to be a difficult task for the group from LA, but adopting a more electric aproach, along with superbly written lyrics I think they have just about managed to equal, if not surpass their previous best. As you get towards the end of this album you will notice the prince influence on the bonus tracks, coupled with an all over feel good factor to all the material on the disc, this compilation is a must for fans of that distinctive sound. If you're a lover of slow or fast tracks from their previous material, there is something here for everyone by the bucketload, very highly recommended, 5 Stars *****

Although a big fan of the first Maroon 5 album; Songs About Jane, Maroon 5's latest album is easily amongst my Top 5 albums of the year, and will probably be the same for you too if you enjoyed Songs About Jane.
Great diversity between tracks in this album, with radio favourites such as Makes Me Wonder and Wake Up Call. A stylish three way pop-rocker-dance style throughout the album keeps each track fresh and new.
I personally would highlight Better That We Break (Track 11) as the best track on the album, closely followed by Kiwi and the Bonus Track; Infatuation.
Available in stores for around £9.00, or here on eBay UK for around £5.00, don't miss out on perhaps the best record of summer 2007.

Its a great follow up to their first album, it includes some great tracks and is well worth a buy! I bought it as i loved the first album and this album does not dissappoint!

Melodic tunes by the so-cal quintet. Some are miserable some a vocal bouquet of symphony. Try it, as at second hand prices, its cheaper than downloading the odd track!

I bought this item as I spotted it on ebay and thought it was a bargain to be able to pay a 10% of the price i wpould pay in a shop in Portugal and absolutely loved it.
I really like their music and thought this is a good change to own a copy of their album without having to spend a fortune great item and loving it in my car.

I bought this as i enjoyed the first album and this one is just as good. Worth buying if your a fan of the group.

I have been trying to track down maroon 5 albums for a while because of one song I heard on a compilation album good cd and some great songs some mellow ones too recommended

good album i like maroon 5.although prfer the first cd alot more it is still worth buying as there is some good music on there.. suitable for alot of people of different ages..if you like music you'rll like this

It's OK, some songs sound a bit 1980's pop but they produce consistantly good albums which is very rare these days. Great for driving to!

Brilliant album. If you love their first album you will love this one. There isnt one track I dont like on it.

If you enjoyed the 'Songs about Jane' album you'll love this one. Another great album which dosen't have a single bad song.

I loved the first album and waited a long time for this one. As with the first one it took a few listens but now im hooked, I would say its slightly less commercial than the first album which as far as I am concerned is not a bad thing!

Better than "Songs About Jane" (and that was a corker!)

The only song I don't particularly like is Kiwi but that is at a stretch!

Makes Me Wonder, Little Of Your Time, Nothing Lasts Forever and Can't Stop are my personal faves but the rest are still great!

This is a must buy of 2007. Buy it from iTunes, cheap supermarkets or eBay, just make sure you buy it!!

Why i bought it.........ah Maroon 5's first album was just brilliant. I heard there first track of this album....that was enough for me to decide!

The album is fab, I thought like most albums there would be your typical 'album fillers' but there isn't. Each track is very very good.

So for anyone who likes similar music this really is a must!

This cd is great value for money, i only liked the one song (makes me wonder)but after listening to the album i was hooked, great songs the kind you just can't get out of your head, i can really recommend it.

I was a fan of marron 5 after some of their hit songs "this love" and "harder to breathe". I had high hopes for this album although their first release "makes me wonder" didn't exactly excite me.

Overall i think for a true maroon 5 fan this is a great album, it captivates the true maroon 5, i however feel that the songs lack in difference and sound a bit too 'pop-py' for my liking. Average album, one for the fans, not for first time maroon 5 listeners.
