primarily I ourchased thsi for assassing a great track that i lose when I loved home, office, business and house. been slowely rebuilding my cd colection ever since. the words are all great on the track, like each and every one was thought over, not just thrown togtehr. I am not a huge marillion fan but this song definatly does it for me. the rest of the cd(s) well pretty average, he remix is better than the original assassing, but then whats the point doing a remix if worse?

I bought this cd because it is my favorite marillion album.
I decided to buy it on ebay as it is the place to get a good bargain when you want one.

  2nd album syndrome?.....I don't think so

The original 7 track Fugazi sits in my vinyl collection with pride of place. Whilst "Script for a Jester's Tear" was (in my humble opinion) quite definitely Marillion's masterpiece, despite the apparent trauma the band were going through, collectively and individually, Fugazi was and is a quite remarkable album. One I never tire of listening to. Clearly on a trajectory to a more marketable sound Marillion hit the jackpot with this one.
The 24 Bit Digital Remaster just takes the sound to another level which, let's be honest, you're never gonna get on scratchy old vinyl but the piéce de résistance is the Bonus Disc - alternate mixes and a few demos - purely belter!
Don't take my word for it - buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Having been a life-long Marillion fan, this was one album I only had on vinyl and was pleased to see it offered on e-bay in CD form, remastered, for a very reasonable price. It was secured on "buy-it-now" and arrived in the post very quickly.

Tracks I particularly adore are: Incubus, Assassing, Lady Nina and the title track itself; Fugazi.

Delighted with my purchase.

  Marillion - Fugazi

It is over 20 years since I saw Marillion play live, and my, does this bring back the memories!! Along with Script and Misplaced Childhood, had this album on vinyl.
Listening to some of the lyrics again after all these years, they can make you cringe/smile or both, but there is no doubting the music - it still sounds brilliant.

this was an album i bought on vinyl many moons ago but with the passing of time i never got round to buying this on cd. then as a re introduction to marillion i heard punch & judy on the radio and i bought it straight away. and to be honest i have been buying up the back cataloge since. the best bit of buying the updated cd offering is that the alternative versions that are available on the second disc. if you like some good old fashioned prog rock (no verse chorus verse chorus here im afraid) give them a go you may surprise yourself. fugazi is exellent as is script for a jesters tear(1st album) and live they were amazing so try the thieving magpie or live at lorely. all the best chris (york, england)

Someone told me the other day that Marillion were still going, but without their lead singer, Fish. When you listen to this album you MUST realise that certain band members are indispensable. Fish was such a person. This is an excellent album from the not too far yesteryear which has brought back loads of pleasant memories for me. A cracker!
