Legendary performance

Is it an overstatement to say that Man are now all but forgotten? They shouldn't be. Buy this CD and find out why.
This performance from 1972 is an amazing record of a great concert. At the time the band were on the way up and tipped by many for far greater things. A live album was suggested - they chose home turf which meant the Padget Rooms, an ancient crumbling civic hall which they filled with hippies and drugs. The concert is a vast musical panorama, as the band drive through their distinctive heavy prog repertoire in confident style. The musicianship is stunning throughout and technically challenging rock monsters such as "Many Were Called But Few Got Up" are dealt out in style. The typical band of today could never attempt such adventures.
Originally released as a limited edition low price vinyl LP with only three (long) songs this double CD expands the experience for the first time ever to include 6 songs, supposedly the whole gig. You should get the vinyl of course, but this CD is a good remaster and worth every penny.
Buy, play loud, enjoy!
