Description
When maverick DEA agents Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel) and Demetrius Hicks (Larenz Tate) team-up to bust notorious drug overlord Memo Lucero (Geno Silva), they soon find themselves in grave danger. When an attempted retaliatory strike by Lucero's gang results in the murder of Vetter's wife, Vetter violently confronts Lucero in his jail cell. Vetter hears the crime boss proclaim his innocence, and realizes that he and his DEA cohorts must go after the mysterious Diablo, who now appears to be running all drug-related business on the California-Mexico border. As the investigation into Diablo begins, Vetter's mind becomes clouded by revenge fantasies for his dead wife, and he is soon relinquished of his duties as an officer after a routine bust turns into a bloodbath. Forming a gang of rogue buddies from their days as street punks, Vetter and Hicks decide to risk everything and go above the law to track down the shadowy Diablo.<BR>Director F. Gary Gray (FRIDAY) ensures that Vin Diesel's action-hero rep is cemented in this violent revenge tale.
