Madonna - Something To Remember (CD 2002)

this cd is a very good one, it has some nice mellow songs on there like rain... its a very relaxing song.... i love this album, i have about 9 albums by madonna she is a legend... def buy this album....

I love this Album as it brings back memories of when i past my driving test
And i used to play it in my new car, over And over.
i bought it at a bargin price. my children now enjoy singing along to it with me

I brought it because its a duplicate of the last one I brought years ago. I wore the last one out! Its Madonna at her very best - nothing else comes near

I love this CD!
In my bedroom I always listen to music. I especially have to listen to music when I'm in bed (falling asleep and waking up) and for these moments I need certain kind of music.. I actually have a playlist on my iTunes under the title "Easy" which I listen to when I fall asleep and wakeup (you should try it- it's gr8..).
This CD has so many mellow, easy-going and cool (yet sexy and funky) known and less-known tracks which makes it a must for anyone who love cool, slow-beat music with a twist.. not just for the Madonna fans..
I especially love the tracks 'I Want You' (which was written especially for this album and has a second version with Massive Attack), 'Rain' (from the album "Erotica") and 'This Used To Be My Playground' (from the "League of Their Own" soundtrack).

I was given this CD as a present when it first came out and have since lost it so when I rembered e-bay sell them I bid on the first copy I saw listed and won it at a great price it came quickly and was in good condition and I play it all the time when working in my office

This is a good CD for us girlie to chill out to. It is classified as dance, But i love to Listen it whilst I am relaxing in the bath. This Used to Be My Playground is my favorite, all lovely track.

This was Madonna's message to her fans in the 1995 release, Something To Remember. 14 tracks (15 tracks on the Japanese and Argentinian releases) including classics such as Rain, Crazy for You and Oh Father plus brand new tracks such as I Want You with Massive Attack, One More Chance and Love Don't Live Here Anymore helped to shape one of Madonna's most intimate albums of her career. Highlights of the album include the UK hit-single You'll See, a beautiful ballad where Madonna tells us defiantly that she will make it on her own - the classic Take A Bow which stayed at number one in the US for more than 14 weeks - and possibly Madonna's greatest ballad of her career, Live To Tell which she performed attached to a crucifix on her 2006 Confessions Tour.

This album was a side to Madonna we hadn't seen before and with all the disco balls, cone-shaped bras and yoga poses it would be nice to see this Madonna again.

CD was in good condition it worked perfectly.
I felt the price was very good for an old CD.
There was nothing that i disliked about the CD or the service and would use this company again.

I'm not a huge fan of Madonna but share an office with a colleague who is and he brought his copy in for us to listen to. I have to say that after the first hearing, I wanted to listen to it over and over again and now have my own copy. It is absolutely fantastic - definitely Madonna at her best. It has a lovely mellow feel to it and the sort of CD to put on when you need to relax. I can't recommend it enough!!

i am replacing my damaged cd collection,this item was bought much cheaper incomparising to high street stores,perfect condition and excellent value.

it was a present for my wife. she really likes the songs. the seller was very helpful and friendly. we now have put the seller into our favourite sellers as they have very interesting things for sale.

Bedtime Stories had already proven that Madonna had calmed down a bit after the raunchy Erotica period. With the release of Something to Remember she took it a step further and used her new-found serenity to release a collection of her best ballads scoping her long back catalogue. Several of the songs selected come from movies and some have never appeared on a Madonna album before - You'll See, One More Chance (a song on which her voice struggles a little), I Want You (two different versions) - being new songs.

This album not only highlights the beautiful pop-ballads Madonna has done in the 1980s and 1990s, but also features the varied artists which she worked with including Massive Attack, Nellee Hooper and Babyface. It's an interesting best of album to own, because even you're not fond of Madonna, but want something peaceful, romantic and easy-listening then you could enjoy this collection. For Madonna fans some of her classics are included to enjoy - Live To Tell, Oh Father and Crazy For You to name three.

Not usually something that I would purchase,but I needed some mellow stuff for my collection and Madonna is a great artist and performer,whether you like her or not.I was pleasantly surprised how good this album is after a friend recommended it,nearly all the tracks were far better than expected. Great album to listen to if you are settling down with someone after a night out,if you know what I mean!!

Something to Remember is a collection of ballads and new at the time.This show cases Madonnas talent to do dance and love songs and succeeds really well,this would be a good introduction to new fans as well,there isn't one bad song on this album.

I bought this because this is one of madonna's great cd's a great collection of her ballads from the excellent take a bow to old favorites like crzy for you. I love this cd a top class collection of great tunes from the greatest artist EVER..!!!!

I bought this to replace the copy I had years ago that has now vanished. I already knew it was a great album, but this copy was is in perfect condition and at a bargain price too!

This is one of the relaxing Madonna albums that would make my evening and day. Contains colorfull and nostalgic ballads.
