The MSI NX8600GT OC Edition is a fantastic graphics card. Not only is this a low priced card but it performs better than a standard 8600GT!

MSI Have pre overclocked this card and also ship it with a very handy program called MSI DOT (Dynamic Overclocking Technology) which allows you to further overclock the graphics card safely! This software allows upto a 10% further overclock (allowing upto 638MHz core speed) below the standard 8600GT and the MSI NX8600GT are compared

Obviously the 8600GT isnt a bad Graphics card but the MSI NX8600GT comes pre overclocked and also gives you the ability to safely overclock the card further.

The card comes with 256MB of GDDR3 Memory and also uses turbo cache allowing even more VRAM if needed.

This card is not available on AGP8X/4X but only on PCI-Express X16. Obviously PCI-Express offers much greater performance than AGP 8X and is well worth upgrading to.

This card may be a mid-range card but it runs most games very well. Some examples would be Bioshock, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2, Rainbow six Las Vegas 1 & 2, Half Life 2, Counterstrike: source, Dead Space, Devil May cry 4 and lets not forget the classic Doom 3 for which the 8600GT is perfect for.

The power requirements for this card also pretty low, just 380W (400W or above to be safe) which means for most people an PSU upgrade is not neccessary.

One thing we must not leave out is the PhysX these cards have that take the gaming experience to whole new level! Originally made by Ageia (who charged alot) PhysX adds more realistic movements, impacts and explosions. Nvidia purchased Ageia and started itegrating PhysX into their graphics cards.

The NX8600GT is HD Capable via HDCP (HDCP Compatible monitor required) allowing fantastic playback clarity and performance in HD.
