Love, Honour And Obey (DVD 2000)

Apart from the fact the dishy Ray Winstone looks as sey as ever, there are 101 other reasons to buy this film. It is very very funny, a great Brit film and one you can watch over and over again. I love the karaoke pieces, Sean Pertwee doing Fireball XL5 is fantastic and Avenue and Alleyways is classic! Lines like "I think i've broken a bone in me cock" and "you're fat i'll throw you in the river" are real gems. Buy it and you won't be dissapointed

I saw this film when it was first out in 2000 and fancied buying it on DVD. It's in the same area as lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch and essex boys. I am a fan of Ray Winstons movies and this is him having a laugh with a load of other odd actors.

If your looking for a ideal chrismtas present for someone into their gangster movies then this is it.

its a great film i watch it before and tryed to getit in the shops its like the old way where i live now use to be its funny and are the actors etc are great i think its excellent

I have watched it before and thought it was brilliant! Its great the way they go by their own names and the actors/actresses in it are fab too!! BRITISH COMEDY AT ITS BEST!!!

brilliant film ! what more can i say this is a very funny film with a brilliant cast,it does contain violence and strong language but it does have an 18 age limit and it is not difficult to see why. The one liners in this film had us laughing out loud and the shootout scene is hilarious. Well worth watching.

This is a great film, my mate lent me his copy, gutted when i had to give it back, got my own copy now. When they filmed it, they must have bin laughing so much, cos there are so many funny bits. Ray Burdis and his wife Kathy Burke had me in stiches, Ray Burdis has erection problems and he spends most of the film wondering how he's going to satisfy his wife,he gets useful tips from the others. Most of the cast are out of operation good guys. This is a top Gangster film to watch.

I first see this film at the pictures when it was released,me and a few friends have a film night once every couple of weeks and i found out that most of my friends had not seen this film SHOCK!!.So i decided to buy it so they could see it.Iam pleased to say the film has lost none of its appeal,the cast is exellent all british and all belevable.If you like gangster/gang films this is a must see film, the language is strong[real english or should i say cockney] some violence,but most of all a funny every day life short of film.In my opinion it is Rhys Ifans, Ray winstone, and Jude Law best performances ever.This film will make you laugh out load while you are watching it and later when you think back on it.Needless to say all my friends that watched it with me thought it was first class, A truelly unmissable film, briton at its best [rule britianna]

i can honestly say this is the best film in my collection, if youlove gangster action, and comedy this fim has it all! you will be in tears at some point in this film.

An extremely emotional film, the green mile is cleverly constructed and can be settled down to with a bar of galaxy and a box of tissues.

A great forgotten Brit-flick containing a who's who of young(ish) British acting talent. Brilliantly scripted by Burdis and Co. A film made for fun rather than a big payday for some involved and all the better for it. Winstone seems to be having the time of his life playing his gangster role and Sean Pertwee is excellent as his Sarf London nemesis. A hugely underrated movie that is highly enjoyable everytime you watch it. Recommended. *****

Films like this always of interest me. I think that there are lots of American set gangster films, but the UK gangster set films have a certain quintessentially British dash of panache. If your a fan of brit flicks like the krays or gangster No1, then you probaly are going to like this film

this is the classic english gangster film comedy dry humour takes a couple of watches then you are completely hooked.

A great London gangster movie with some brilliant characters played by great actors and with an excellent witty script. Hillarious!

One of the funniest films from UK sourced entertainment.. The viagra scene had me in tears.. as for the "I'm like a lethal weapon.. go on try and stab me....! " in the pub scene well...

This movie is a Best of British, it has a wealth of british stars with Ray Winstone, Jude Law, Sean Pertwee, Kathy Burke, Sadie Frost, Denise Van Outten, Rhys Ifans who is brill in this and Jonny Lee Miller who plays the lead role.
Its based on a feud started by Jonny (north London firm) and south London. If you like films like, The Long Good Friday, Snatch, Layerake, Lock Stock and Two Smokin Barrels, you will love this film. It comes with a great sound track to top it off..
