Lost - Series 1 - Part 1 (DVD)

Lost next must be praised for the set, including the juggling of a vast stable of characters. the shows mini plots drag abit but are still amazing...
i would suggest you buy this DVD.

I have been following this fantastic series since the beginning and have not yet missed an episode. I agree with everyone else that this is a completely unpredictable series with many story lines intermingled with one another. Just as you begin to think you have worked out what is going on and you think you have answered all those questions in your mind about what has happened already, the writers go and throw in a handful of twists, that just leave you feeling like Homer Simpson "Doh!".

And what is Kate's deal? I shall say no more, other than lets see even more of Dominic Monaghan. And what is in the forest?

This is an amazing series which keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat whither your watching every week on tv or on dvd. Theres always a surprise aournd each corner. Buying the dvds will allow you to scan through each episode looking for clues, which are there if you look close enough.The dvd is for anyone who likes a challange, not for the weak minded, and it will definately suplly you with one, with constant questions running through your mind like "who are the others?" and "what is the "security system"?". Sadly none of these are answered in either parts of the first series however the dvd will build suspense for those who are willing to wait until spring for the next series to be shown on Channel 4 and believe me, its worth the wait.

have seen the frist series on Channel4 when it first aired,i was suscipious of what it was trying to portary ie a plane with many passengers crashes for unexplained reasons on a tiny and unhabited island in the pacific ocean well we think no one or no thing lives there and each week the survivors of the remaining passengers come to terms with the plane crash and the circumstances of it but i must admit i was hooked by this series fantastic acting by all the cast members,decent storyline etc

I would highly recomend it to everyone who likes to see people/charcters up againts the elements such as nature such as monsoon,basic survival ie building a makeshift home out of wood,leaves and so forth,hunting for food and so forth but it isnt for the faint hearted people out there why do i say this well of course if some people who remember the alive film this is similar along the same lines of that however imagine that instead of crash landing in a winter scene or on a mountain in the andes this is a series of a plane crash on a hot tropical island and how they survive etc

i paid for it using paypal and the seller never sent it, i registered a compliant with paypal who decided the seller was at fault but i never got any money back, now i don't feel confident using ebay or paypal

Like no other series, Lost brings you unpredictability that will test your imagination further than anything else.

Although the series is unpredictable, it is not hard to follow. You will find yourself thinking up all sorts of wonderful theories, all as radical as the first.

It is the first series where you really get to know the backgrounds of the characters and relate to at least one of them. There will be laughter and tears as you watch the first half of this series.

This is one series not to be missed! Catch it whilst you can and join in with the hype of 'Lost'.

Brilliant, could watch this over and over again :) once you start to watch it you have to watch every episode, get this and follow it up with the next seasons. One of the best seasons on tv !!!!

IM MEGA INTO MY 24 BOXSETS AND THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE LOST A WHIRL EASY WATCHABLE WELL RECCOMEND IT IVE FINISHED TH 1ST SERIES OF LOST NOW ONTO 2ND SERIES REALLY ENJOYING IT.

i am a lost addict,dont miss an episode,so wanted to start the dvd collection if anyone wishes to start watching something that will have you gripped to the edge of your seat after every episode and leave you wanting more and more then lost is for you.its fantastic,mind boggling,surprising and fustrating.any one who watches soon becomes hooked.it starts with a plane crash on an island which sounds quite normal but when you add polar bears,a black smoke the derma facility and the others who live on the island its gripping stuff.plus some very lovely looking men and women on a tropical beach there is going to be trouble.

i know this boxset is a few years old now , but it is a fantastic insight into people in general. with its on the edge of youre seat drama, to the weird and wonderfull twists that happen right in front of youre eyes,this is a must if you enjoy a good old suspenser 10 out of 10 from us.!. its that good i have purchased all boxsets from ebay,please check them out, you wont be disappointed i guarentee it,:}

The style of hiding what threatened the survivors works really well and combined with the convincing characters make for excellent viewing. Saw it first on Ch 4 and grabbed the opportunity to view it again.

this was exactly what i wanted and it was cheap as chips also it was brand new unopened to buy in the shops it would have cost me 4 times the amount thank you ebay

having already watched this on TV when it first came on our screens i was instantly hooked and loved the whole series. i decided to start collecting the dvd's as i have missed a lot since it moved onto sky therefore think it best to start from the beginning again and watch them all. there are so many twists and surprises throughout the whole series it is impossible not to become addicted to the programme as you are always left wanting to know more... and the answers are hardly ever given!! Brilliant! for anyone never having watched Lost, grab yourself the DVD's and start from the beginning its definitly worth it!

I never watched it on TV but heard from a friend it was good so decided to try it. Watched the first 5 episodes on the trot. Very compelling viewing. I have purchased Part 2 now ready for next week!?

Anyone who has seen LOST needs to own the boxed sets! The more you watch it the more it makes sense. IF you're watching it for the first time there are so many story lines and twists and turns to follow it leaves you dying to watch the next episode. it is totally adictive watching and will never leave you feeling bored. The boxed sets usually contain a bonus dvd which will help you keep up with the story lines and cast members. Lots of fantastic actors and actresses. LOST is a must have on anyones 'wish list'
