The Lost Boys (DVD 2004)

Quite simply a brilliant film. If you like your films a bit scary, but ultimately funny, then you've got to buy this DVD. The film doesn't take itself too seriously which is partly what makes it a true gem. Good acting, a cool soundtrack and great effects made this one of the all time 80's classics. A must have for your collection. This WILL make you smile.

There's most likely two categories of people out there: Those who grew up with The Lost Boys and those who didn't. For those who didn't, and for those who still haven't seen it, the premise is not new, but in its time, it could be considered groundbreaking for taking the genre in a different direction to what we expected. Kiefer may be the only actor in this movie who made it out of the 80’s in one piece but The Lost Boys is still a brilliant piece of moviemaking and an icon of the 80’s that has finally received the full DVD treatment. A simply classic film...

this film is getting quite old now, but i think it can be watched over and over. this is one of my favourite films.

This is one of the Best all round retro Vampire films and a must see for all lovers of Horror and a hint of the silly stuff , Its a 80,s classic

Excellent vampire/comedy movie. Have watched it so many times could recite the script. My nephew has now started watching horror movies and I saw this and bought it for his birthday. It has some really good pillow hugging moments as well as some hilarious scenes and some really hot vampires. As a bonus the soundtrack is fantastic, I would recommend watching this film at least once.

This is a classic teen vampire movie, with big names, and great plot, an awesome location and excellent direction and camera work. The sound tracks not bad either! If you like movies, you have to have this in your collection.

If you haven't seen this movie, Do. Its a modern classic of its time, some of the cast are still going strong today. The story involves a acouple of teenagers who, no fault of their own, relocate to live with their 'strange' grandfather in a seaside town. Unbeknown to them the town is in fact teenage vampire central. One of the brothers falls for a babe, who turns out to be a part of a group of teenage vamps. He is drawn into it becoming a vampire himself. The younger brother hooks up with a couple of oddballs, the Frog Brothers, who claim to be Vampire hunters, together they try to track down the head vampire in a bid to release the older brother from his affliction. If you buy this Movie, Make sure you get the two disk collectors edition, theres interviews with many of the actors today, very interesting to see how they've changed over the years (Corey Haim being unrecognisable!). Theres also a few documentaries wcich give a really good insight into the processes of making a movie of this type. In all very well worth watching if you haven't seen it before, and worth watching again if you haven't seen it for ages. Great script and a variety of real characters.

A classic film,one that you will enjoy time after time year in year out.Not only that but a sound track that is great, you will enjoy listening to on its own.If you own a copy on video get yourself a copy on dvd much better to watch this great film on,this has to be one of the all time best vampire films, it never seems to date and there is a little of everything in it from comedy to gore although not enough gore to have you feeling sick.This is a film to add to your collection,i no that im glad i bought one.

The Lost Boys was a quality movie from my youth, I had to purchase it on DVD. I previously owned this film on VHS.

A great vampire film very tame but well worth a look if you havent seen it.Me i watched it the first time it casme out and its as great to watch then as it is now.Now ive grown up and have kids of my own they love it to.Long live the lost boys xxxxxxxx

i have loved this film for years so when i seen this product i jumped at the chance so i can watch it at my leisure the unseen footage is magic aswell

i bought it as a birthday present for my girlfriend its her favorite film of all time it came as promised it came on time and my girlfriend loves it as i don,t have much time to go to the shops i find ebay very handy and competitively priced

starring kiefer sutherland great film about vampires, not really a vampire film fan but this is a great film with a few great soundtracks from the likes of echo and the bunnymen
