The music of my era. Some fantastic old music which bought back many happy memories.Lonnie Donegan died a couple of years age and I lost my original cd so took the plunge and bought Putting On The Style. Well priced at £5.99 and well worth the money.

Rock Island Line was the first record I remember buying and this version on CD brought back many memories. With a modern sound system the CD is much clearer than the old records and players where it was sometimes difficult to hear the words. There are a generous number of tracks and I thought it an excellent tribute CD.

This is a brilliant CD recalling my teen years when Lonnie was the King. I saw him in concert shortly before he sadly passed away and like a good wine, he had got better with the years. I would recommend this album to anyone who wants to recall the excitement of the fifties.

i really loved this cd,i think it really says all their is to say about lonnie donegan.i bought it because of some of the songs i remembered from my youth which my sister and i used to play on washboard and bamboo stick with string attached and resting on a tea chest.songs such as putting on the style and gambling man.i was not dissapointed at all the whole cd was just great.i would recommend it to any 60 yearold person or any one of any age.

The product is awesome value for money and the quality is super.
A recomended buy to any Lonnie fan, or lovers of Skiffle.
All his greatest hits are on the album, great tracks for the avid fan.
I really enjoy listening to the music of this era and type, I find it
to be uncomplicated and easy to listen to.

I was looking for something different for my dad's christmas and I was told he liked Lonnie Donegan so this is how the purchase came about. My dad has told me this is the best piece of music he has listened to in a long time.

Nice to be able to hear past performers on good quality reproduction.Even an improvement on the sound quality over orginal recordings.Researchers able to often find previous unused material.

The CD was brand new, still in plastic with an outer slip case.It was very cheap in price another factor to take into consideration when you are on a limited budget.I bought it to remind me of the good days, which it certainly did. I could still remember all the words and the corny jokes and I have had a few sing alongs. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to all the people born in the 40s, or anybody who likes skiffle.

Quality item with cardboard sleeve as well as box and booklet with pictures and history. All songs featured in the top 20 no B side songs to fill it up Over 1 hour of foot tapping music and nostalgia

This CD does what it says on the label - these are Lonnie's greatest hits and as a skiffle fan I enjoyed every single song.

Bought to give to care home for disabled children & young adults, they love this style of music, and have at least 2 music afternoons per week. To see the faces whilst they listen is a picture worth a million words...Great, that after all these years good music is still appreciated. WELL WORTH THE MONEY PAID.

Suddenly had an urge to listen to some "Skiffle Music". Who better than Lonnie Donegan. Looking through e-bay I saw this one. "Just the ticket" says I and so it was bid for an won. When it arrived and played I was not dissapointed. I was very pleased to have bought it and was very satisfied.

there is nothing i do not like about thie c.d. i just hope it will last with all the play time it as had from me it is just one happy c.d

great CD brought back some great memorys.I have played in the motor car to my two grandchildren who rearly enjoyed it.

I have already a Lonnie Donegan CD,this one has a more comprehensive range of his music,which contained more of his hits.The quality cannot be faulted and the value was superb.

I bought this disc to replace an LP record of the same tracks.
Excellent CD, Lonnie at his best and in my opinion far better sound quality than on LP. My other half said that I am aloud to play it on the car CD player so it must be good.

I had been looking for this particular artist for sometime. Having browsed through several shops I was very pleased to locate this item on ebay. I was very pleased with the result and play the CD very much . I always look on ebay now fro certain items and very happy with the results so far.
