I bought this dvd for my brother, I saw the coloured one which was great but this one was in black and white, the story was the same but Didnt think it was so great, If you want to see lolita and enjoy it buy the coloured addition not the black and white one, Hope this helps.

This is kubrick's vision of the book, if you are looking for a more faithful version check out the jeremy irons re-make, having said this i love this one the best, with a cast to die for, james mason, peter sellers, shelley winters and sue lyon(lolita) its one of the best black comedy films ever! i must have watched it 15 times and every time is as good as the first!
