Logitech MX™ Revolution Mouse (9316890120)

This is quite a good mouse. It is comfortable to grip and the extra buttons are useful. The buttons include forwards and backwards for web pages. It is accurate and so far I have not had any problems with it. It appears to hold its charge well on the chargeable batteries and there is an indicator showing the amount of charge left. This is a lot better than the previous mouse that I had because I had to keep replacing the batteries quite often. Installation was easy and as it is cordless there isn't any wires to fiddle about with. I probably paid less than half the recommended price for this mouse and I am very pleased with it in terms of value for money and the functionality of the product.

With all the usual mouse buttons, plus a search hotkey, a super fast spin free or ratchet scroll and the ability to fly directly to any open programme just by moving a thumb wheel, this rechareable mouse which seems to live forever from the briefest of times spent on its recharging dock is a must. How did I manage without it? Other mice are just so tedious now.

As a desktop mouse for just about every application this is fantastic. Feels great to use and well balanced with superb features. The two stage scroll wheel is brilliant and I find myself trying to switch scroll mode on my mouse at work without thinking and get diappointed when I remember it's not my MX Revolution. However you must install ubertools over the setpoint software provided by Logitech and don't expect great performance in games. I actually use a different mouse for gaming. I looked it up on the internet and it's the setpoint software. Apparantly if you just leave the basic OS drivers installed by Vista it works fine but then you can't program all the keys. Sort it out Logitech!!!!

scroll wheel used by middle finger
Button below this to open a program (default is internet explorer)
Scroll where thumb is to move between minimised programs.
left and right buttons where thumb is to navigate backwards and forwards on internet explorer.
I don't really use all the buttons as I am not used to them but if I did then I am sure they would be handy.

In all, this is a very good mouse.

It the best mouse I have ever used. I had not realised how often I use the wheel and this just makes it so easy with it's free spinning wheel. Other optical mice (mighty mouse is the worst) I have used have jumped around the screen on most surfaces - this lazer mouse works perfectly on any surface. Quick search button is a nice touch and it's in a place where you wont press it by mistake. It is truely amazing even if you get it for £60 RRP you will not regret it. One minor thing is (on the mac anyway) the lack of options on some of the buttons.

Brilliant mouse, the ultimate in comfort, efficiency, looks cool, if you dont mind the price you wont get a superioir mouse to the Revolution

The best mouse ever. Easy and fun grip.The best mouse in Years. Will not get a better mouse but has a really small USB which i think should be bigger. Everything else is good. The sexy mouse of the world. Miss Mouse.

It's a highly functional, highly ergonomic mouse. The programming software is intuitive and allows buttons to have different functions in different programs. The only down side is that is nano wireless transmittors become more commonplace, this lags behind in havingn an old style large USB stick but it's not such a great price to pay as it's not really the sort of mouse that is commonly used as a portable on.

Overall, a great product with only minor gripes.

I love this mouse very comftable accurate and packed full of options that come with the software.
surprisingly long battery life and i play strategy games lasting hours with content movement.
u always know when u need to charge it on it smart looking docking station with the plain to see indication of battery status on the mouse each time you move it (so u only need to have the ac adaptor turned on when u need it)
i would pay again and again for this mouse as i do think its the best mouse in the world.

I like the new look but my old Logitech mouse has got more buttons you can designate functions to. I only decided to buy this new mouse as my old one broke after nearly 2 years of usage.

Without a doubt, The best mouse you can buy. Totally customizable and a joy to use. Will be even better when the software update comes out for Macs Snow Leopard. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

First impressions are that it feels very cheap, the plastic doesnt feel smooth to the touch, the top scrolling wheel is sloppy it moves 1mm to each side before it reaches the point where it starts to do anything. on the upside it does look good, all the fetures work perfectly

Having used a plethora of different mice in the past i've known different levels of comfort. But using this Logitech MX Revolution is like waving in thin air, that's how light this mouse is! It is literally packed with features and buttons. And having upgraded to this from an Apple Wired Mighty Mouse, it makes the Mighty Mouse look like a cheap £8 piece of crap from Tesco. THE most comfortable mouse ive ever used. If you have the money, or manage to find one for as good a deal as I did, then buy one.

I think is a great peice of technology to have especilly if you're a hard gamer like me.
Pros:
The best thing about the mouse is that you you can manualy set thtough an easy piece of software the different buttons and the speeds of the pointer, vertical & horizontal scrolling for a more quick response (but take time getting use to it.)
Cons:
The only downside i can see is that you cannot use the scroll wheel to click a like in a broswer to open in another tab. (i missed that).

Bottom line:
Great mouse for a gammer, not really recommended if you're just an everyday user.

I saw this mouse at i36 in Coventry, used it and it felt wonderful; nothing's changed since then and that's why I bought it, it fits right into my hand perfectly (and I have pretty damn big hands) yet my little brother can still use it with relative ease, I actually do graphic design and it's the best, most precise mouse I've ever used, let alone tha fact that it's wireless, the range is pretty good, I can use it from one side of my bedroom to the other (so at least 10ft) and I've never had the connection drop out for any reason either

Excellent mouse

Bought this mouse for my iMac, but it works just as well with the second class Microsoft operating systems. Very functionally rich mouse, a definite buy recommendation.

This is simply the most advanced mouse in the world!
It has everything that u need on a mouse. Its very confortable on ur hand,it has some extra buttons that can be programed to do what u want,its rechargable(no more buying new batterys) and it has a battery life indicator on the mouse,it has a scroll wheel that can be spin free so u can scroll up and down very fast on web pages,etc,etc,etc.
Im really pleased with my mouse and i really think that this is the most advanced mouse in the whole world!
It does cost a bit of money but its definately worth it!

Having used trackballs for the last five years I wanted a change and what a change. Smooth operation - feels fantatic to use and fantastic value.
