Logik LPD850 Portable DVD Player with Screen

After having my portable DVD player broken, i decided to replace it with another from Ebay. T he price was certainly cheap enough, it was a good make and model and that was the decider for me to go ahead and buy. I love it!!

Wish I Googled this before buying, the sound is awful even with headphones, very very tinny as if the built in speaker was broken. If you are watching anything decent on it be prepared for this. Check the sound quality before buying any portable DVD.

On the plus side, plays everything I've tried, build is okay, picture good, just the sound lets it down.

I bought this dvd player for my 8yr old son to use in the car, plane etc. It is very easy to set up and use without adult help. It comes with in car adapter, battery charger and removable battery pack. It has a good size, clear screen and great sound and you can use your own headphones too. The battery is quite heavy but when fully charged plays for about 3hrs and when plugged into the car you can take the battery pack off. My son loves it.

I decided to pruchase tis as I need a portable dvd player and this was cheaper than stores

however I was unhappy with the product and the seller I ordered this and the first time the dvd palter would cut off half way through the filma nd then restart it again so i wrote to the seller and reqyested a replacement however with the replacement I had the same issue I though enoguh was enough and wanted a refund as I could not afford to keep posting back faulty itenms

When I did request this the seller balmed my dvds however the dvds I had purchased where brand new and never been used and they have worked in every dvd since then

its a good piece of item to have i would definitely recommend it it has good picture quality and it plays almost every type of dvds

A great superb item plays all types of media including divx ,mp4,mp3 dvd vr ,cd,cdr,dvd,dvdr,vcd ,picture cd and back up dvd discs takes a couple of hours to charge which give approx 2 hours of play back can run direct off the mains has an av out and an av in so can be connected to external devices ,the large 8.5" screen delivers great quality and sharpness it has a remote control its quite small and compact at approx 9 1/4" long 7" wide 1 3/4" thick when closed and weighing as much as a bag of sugar this truly is a remarkable bit of kit use it in the house or the car/caravan/motorhome comes with a cigarette lighter connection lead so keeps the kids quiet and content for hours.

Well I bought the DVD player for a christmas present for my girlfriend. The DVD player is light and durable and has lots of great features like DIVX playback, the sound quality through the speakers are great.
I watch a DVD on it most nights and the picture quality is amazing as the screen is a great size. When we were travelling we watched a film and the battery lasted for more than the film, we could of watched 2 films on one battery.
The only problems is the battery doesn't sit flush with the DVD player, so it sticks out the back and the battery does weigh more than the DVD player itself, but it does last so can't really complain. Other problem is the DVD player has no volume control for headphones, so it is set on one volume, unless you have headphones with a volume adjuster, but again the sound quality even through headphones is superb and truely stereo too, not mono put through both sides.

Overall the DVD player is superb and for the price and with the features it holds it is a great find and a must have, the battery life is great and the picture and sound quality is top notch.

positve....great big screen 8.5 inch. nice looks. plays avi dvd.
negative...low audio vol(common prob). dvd reloading mid film, (solved easily with a small piece of tape on door clasp to depress door sensor).

This has been fantastic for my little one to watch whilst on a long drive, the picture is clear, sound is good, screen size for our purpose was perfect.

I found it easy to set up, it worked in the car no problems, I did have a multi voltage connector and it worked perfectly, good picture and it is ideal for keeping a bratty child quiet on a long drive.

I purchased this for my son,as he goes abroad a lot through his work and sleep in his bunk in his lorry, he does removals, so this item serves him well he is able to watch films during the evening.

I bought one which I found quickly broke down at the door closure sensor, fortunately I managed to get another which had a faulty laser head for use as spare parts. Having built one from two broken ones, it seems to be working fine now.

I think it's a decent piece of equipment if you manage to get a good one first time, otherwise, be prepared to replace it when it goes wrong.

This can be connected to the TV and this plays divx and is region free with an unlock code so you can effectivley watch multi-region dvds on the player or on your larger telly. Yes the sound is inadequate but this can be resolved by headphones, the battery sticks out somewhat and the battery life is 2-3hours which is short but that is the norm in players such as this.

Multi-region + DivX playback setup 1. Power on the DVD player. 2. Open the tray. 3. Key in 9735 on the remote. A secret menu should appear which lets you change the region as well as showing you the firmware revision and other settings. Choose Region 0 for region free. 4. Close the tray to exit the menu.

At first glance I liked the Logik LPD850 Portable DVD Player with Screen, but after it was delivered,it had some problems, I sent it back to the seller,who kindly replaced it.
Nessecity predicated the purchase of the DVD because of the nature of my job. In fact, I bought two different makes portable DVD player, with the second purchase, I've had no problems so far.

The portable dvd player is very compact, and has a big screen to get really good quality films, it has a very long battery life, with a good speaker, it doesn't take a lot of time to charge it up.

i bought it for a gift for my mom 4 xmas as she wanted 1 for ages and she was well pleased with it and was just the right size without being to smaller screen . all in all a great product

It was very good price for such a size screen. It all works and is being used regularly. The seller posted item very quick and was accurate with the description.

I liked it because it played all regions and divx as well.The price was right and the delievery was quite good too.

I bought this dvd player so my two year old son can watch it on the plane...
It also came in realy handy as a dvd player which i connected to the tv in our holiday appartment.......great way to keep the kids happy,and to watch there favorite programmes whilst you get ready to go out....life saver...
