Little Shop Of Horrors (DVD 2003)

I watched this film an age ago, when I was just a wee lad. I brought it recently to swell my growing musicals collection. Do you know, I had quite frankly, forgotten what a great little movie this is. Not only that but my kids loved it as much as I had when I was young.
I had completely forgotten what a good singer, Rick Moranis is and it's still one of Steve Martin's funniest performances. I loved the scene with Bill Murray, as the masochistic dental patient.
Who can forget of course the immortal line from the plant, Audrey 2,
"Feed me, Seymour, Feed Me Now!". What a treat.

I bought this as the wife said the other day ' Ive never seen little shop of horrors. whats it about? ' How do you explain the premise without sounding a little mad.? Easier to buy a cheap copy and let them make their own minds up. I love its unique mental-ness. some great cameos and a singing plant. what more could you want.? Not sure anyone could carry it off nowadays? Not a 'musical' fan but have always loved this film. 5/5

Great film love it so much. now can watch it over and over. great for all the family. Great songs and some good appearances from supporting cast members.

I loved this movie as a child and after the VCR ate my original copy I had to get another, there are so many famous faces in small parts its fun to see, Audrey 2 (plant with attitude)and her owner Seymore go from rags to riches and sing their way through. A little cheesy but we all love a bit of cheese now and again. As its a musical its not too long with a simple story but very funny and I can watch it over and over. Do it, buy a copy, you know you want to.

I work in a small primary school in SE London. It has become a custom of ours to recreate a musical for 'end of an year' spectacular. This includes children 10 and 11 years of age. The film I purchased was an excellent example to show to the children and also feed the staff`s imaginations for script writing, props and backdrop for our small stage.
This particular edition includes stars which the children recognised and roused their enthusiasm when it came to audition for particular roles.
I would recommend this DVD.

what a musical one of the best, levi stubbs ex four tops (god rest his soul) gives a brilliant performance as the plant audrey 2. rick moranis best film ever. stunning bit part by steve martin as the dentist. i love the soulfull sound track. if you like the blues brothers this is for you, 5 star.

This is a cult classic a real must see feel good kind of film! I think that this musical version is streets ahead of the original. You must see Steve Martin's Evis dentist scene that it is just hilarious! With a bizarre mix of songs & great humour I would recommend this film for all ages.

I used to own the video and loved it, this died a long time ago and while I was looking through ebay I noticed that the dvd was for sale, I felt that I would like to own it again so I made the decision to bid for it, I won it and looked forward to it comming through the door.

What I love about the film is the music and the energy that eminates from the film, it make you want to get up and dance.
I feel it captures the hopelessness of people who live in "skid row", the hopes and dreams of Audry and the poor pathetic Seymore who just can't get a break in life.

The characters in the film were very well cast, Rick Moranis, the gawky shop assistant, Ellen Greene, the original dumb blonde, and not forgetting every childs and adults nightmare, Steve Martin, the sadistic dentist, it's horror, it's comedy, It's romance, It's one of the best movies I have seen in ages and one I could watch time and time again.

I can safely say there is nothing I dislike about it.

My daughter is doing this as her school play this year, so that was my excuse to buy the DVD. Just as mad and funny as I remembered it! While being almost entirely comical, the plant did make me shiver a bit....Thoroughly recommended!

classic film!! i love that it's a musical but it's not cheesy. my children and i love it, and although i enjoy sitting down to watch it, i also enjoy getting on with the housework whilst my girls watch it, but i can join in singing the songs whilst i'm washing up.

I bought this for my Mother,she thought it was marvelous..maybe not totally my cup of tea.But a funny old musical,maybe I should watch it again!
We all expect wonderful special effects, rather than good acting,singing things old films had.

This is a great film that i love so much and always have done. I was so happy to get it on dvd off eBay and for a great price. The songs and dancing are fab and have you singing along till the very end, it's great i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Myself and my family loved this film
Very funny and well punctuated by songs whilst the scene changes
The plant is the bigest star and has an out of this world personality

fantastic movie good for pg watching or just to take you back to your childhood . musical and funny all round great film. audrey 2 is great doesnt look really corney FEED ME SEYMOUR FEED ME .this is a great light hearted musical frenzie . this is a must see even if you only watch it once its not to be missed.

I used to watch this when i was a child, the most favourite part was when they were in the dentist on the funny gas and it was that good i watched it over and over again, so i brought it for my kids they love it and now i can t get it off the telly

This was bought for my grandchildren,who first so it whilst holidaying abroad,they absoloutly loved it, and was mesmeriesd with the plant and loved the music,we searched high and low for it before i thought of ebay,i will proballey have to get another soon as this one will be worn out soon with the number of times it has been watched. i can definately recomend it.

I bought this as it is one of the best films ever, really funny and it makes you feel good. Rick Moranis is brillliant and there is a great cameo by Steve Martin as the dentist. Don't watch it if you have a dental appointment due!

its just a funny film... its got a great big plant that likes to eat people and stuff. o and that little dude from ghostbusters, the nerd... you know the one. anyway they make a bit of a song and dance about it and all ends well pretty much. er, thats it.

i decided to buy it coz it was cheap a was very happy with this service and would recommand itto others, very fast delievey its a great film in packaging quality excellent

This is a film that will be loved for years to come. Great songs and story line. Very well acted. A classic. Enjoy it.

its a excellent film for the family , i must say when i first watch this it was a brillent funny and good made me laugh and my family . so i have to go and buy it from the shops

my children like musicals and they had never seen this film so i found it on e-bay and was lucky to win it.

its a great film old and young alike will love it took me back to my childhood many a rainy day we watched this film and now my own kids love it too. catchy tunes that you will be singing and the plant seems so lifelike its excellent!
