bought this for my kids, and them and me both loved it,great faimly movie.
a must have film for the family..its about a mermaid called ariel whom dreams of becomeing human,so one day she gos and see the sea witch ursula who makes her human for a short while,but she as to fall in love to stay human.but the sea witch is only after her fathers kingdom.so the adventure starts to save her fathers kingdom.

I decided to buy this because I only have it on video and my daughter wanted it on dvd. This movie came out in 2000 when she was only 2 years of age. She is now 10 and still loves it. I think that speaks for itself. If you dont already know, its about a mermaid called Ariel who lives under the sea with her father, King Triton, and her sisters. She falls in love with a mortal ( very frowned upon) so she keeps it a secret. Ursula, the sea witch and nemesis of the King, finds out about Ariels infatuation and makes a deal with her. She trades Ariels voice for giving her real girl legs, but she has to get Eric to kiss her by sunset. If not, Ursula has her soul as her prisoner for eternity. Of course everything goes wrong, but all comes right in the end as love conquers all!! A great little girly movie. Great songs too.

A Disney classic which is a pure joy to watch over and over again. I loved it myself when it first came out so bought it for my little one. Even with the age of computer animation Disney, he still loves it.

I watch this film with my 2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. It brings back so many memories from my childhood aswell. It is a classic fairy tale. Anyone looking to buy a film for their kids should definately purchase this film. The graphics are brilliant for its time and i dont think it will ever be outdated. 10/10.

I bought this for my little grandaughter because I know that you cannot go wrong with Disney animated films. How right I was she loves it as any other young child ( and most adults ) would. WONDERFUL !!!!!

Disney can't do no wrong in my eyes. My daughter loves 'The Little Mermaid'. She is transfixed by it and has watched it twice since we received it just the other day. It is magical and teaches about love which is important. And in my eyes if it keeps my daughter and son quite for a length of time then it is well worth it! Definitely one for the collection along with the other Disney films!

I like it because i love the movie from the very beginning and my daughter loves it. what i dislike is, it is not very clear or not very rich in color like the new dvd now but infairness, it is still clear... i decided to buy it because i know my daughter will fall in love with ariel, as i have when i was younger...

A great underwater animated disney great with a great score and imagination the kids and adults alike will love this great disney classic! with the untimely classic song "Under the Sea" well worth buying.

We loved this movie the first time we bought it on vhs many years ago for our daughter,and now that we have a young one again we thought it would be a
great dvd to to have and watch again.

It is great family entertainment, the storyline is very enchanting and the songs are great to sing along to. All in all a very good movie to sit down and enjoy with the kids.

I loved that it was in plastic and had never been opened. I really loved how defined and fresh the colour was compared to the VHS I had as a kid. I have always loved this on VHS but the DVD bonus features have made me love it even more.

What i like so much about this movie is that no matter how old it gets it's still one of the best Disney animated movies ever and i never tire of watching it because it has such a beautiful storyline and superb music, it's just bursting with fabulous colour and life. This movie is a real treashure and will stay in millions of families for a very long time and never be forgotten! There is nothing i dislike about this movie, i just wish it was longer than 80 minutes!

I bought this wonderful Disney film to try cheer my 4 year old daughter up as she has chicken pox and stuck at home. She loves princesses and has an Ariel doll so she was delighted with the DVD.

Everything a girl (and mummy could wish for!) A true classic Disney film that can be watched time and time again.

Bought for a bargain price and really quick delivery! Highly recommended!

an absolute classic for the children. a truely heart warming film This is full of bright colours and nice songs a film you can watch again and again.

The beginning of this film seems just a little too 'perfect' to me, but once the film gets going and the villainous Ursula becomes involved, the pace and storyline are flawless. The songs are enchanting and there is a lot of humour to be found in tis film.

Perfect condition - Brand new and with Plastic still on.

Disney DVD's well there just classics and my little daughter loves them.....will be trying to build her the ultimate collection in the near future.

I have been collecting disney dvd's for my daughter who is 17 months old, and this aswell as little mermaid 2 has been Izzy(daughter) fave, the songs are very catchy and the film is quite colourful. My daughter will sit and watch this movie from beginging to end and always laughs as Sebastian, great for me to get on with the housework

When the Little Mermaid arrived I was a bit confused because the cover of it was in Spanish,but once I opened it and played it I realised the full film was in English.
