Lite on DVD Recorder

Considering the low cost of the item (£42 + P+P) i was in 2 minds as to whether i should buy something like this on Ebay. My brother-in-law already had the same model, and was very positive about it so in the end i decided to jump in the deep end!
I am so impressed with it i just don't know where to start! Even my Dad has now bought one!
It is very, very simple to use and can take input from 4 different sources. So far i have copied from my Sky+ with no problems, copied my wedding onto Disc (with improved results!) and also copied directly from my Digi-Cam onto DVD via the front panel with a Firewire connection slot!
One very impressive characteristic of the machine is you don't need to use Re-writable discs to be able to add episodes / films at a later date!! Just Put what you want on the disc, and remove it when it's done. You can even view what you have recorded at this stage, as long as you only view it on your Lite-On machine!
Then, once you've added your 14 episodes, or several movies, you can then opt to "CLOSE THE DISC" which then makes the Disc compatible with most other DVD players.
Before closing the disc, you can even name each episode or movie file to be shown on the menu screen, but there is a thumbnail automatically added to the menu screen of the first scene of whatever is recorded.
This really is a doddle to use, but the only negative point i have so far is that you have to leave the unit on standby if the Sky / Digital feed is being routed via the DVD recorder. However, if u are recording something via Sky+ then this isn't the case, as it will still record with no problems.
Overall, i would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap, easy to use DVD recorded with flexibility and reliability!
