I bought a second LVW-5002 DVD Recorder to download my Sky plus box as I use my first elsewhere to download from my video-camera. The fact I bought a second the same speaks well for the machine. The 'Guider' makes it so easy to use. The range of inputs & outputs is great - especially the front input for a video-camera & it tolerates a better range of discs than other machines I have worked with.

This item was honestly described and well priced even with the slight damaged described.Having owned one of these DVD Recorders in the past I was aware of it reliability and just could not resist purchasing another.

Had it brand new at a real bargain price. Nice looking with bright lights on the panel. Easy to use and has good configuration and editing functions.
The main problem experienced so far has been been that of the choice of media. This is a fussy recorder and you will probably need branded media as it refused to recognise my generic DVDs. Used with another gadget, this machine was the only recorder that allowed me to copy my commercial VHS tapes to DVDs for future use. Nearly all tapes. I tried but could not hack it to do more but this was the only recorder that worked for me.
