The Lion King (DVD 2003)

i had looked everywhere for lion king on dvd as my daughter really wanted it for xmas, i finally found it on ebay so i bid for it and won.

I received it after only 2 days, which was great but when i opened the package the dvd cover said it was a 2 disc special to which i thought was a bonus as on ebay it had stated it was the 1 disc special edition.

I checked inside the box for the 2 discs and there was only 1 and the 1 that was inside had a large chip on it which made the film jump and crash when we tried to watch it.

It would of been impossible to give this as a xmas present now, sop i asked for a refund which the seller kindly agreed to and gave his address for return.

I then stupidly deleted the address by accident so i emailed the seller again for the address to which he they still have not replied.

I purchased this dvd for a xmas prsent for my friend, it arrived in good time. When she came to watch it it freezes and doesn't play. I e-mailed the seller but I haven't had a reply back yet.

I like the movie, but the one I bought was supposed to be a 2 disc special edition. However I recieved a 1 disc cheap copy of the Lion King that missed out alot of scenes. I contacted ebay but they did nothing. WORST 10 POUND I EVER SPENT!

Disappointed as it wasn't sealed in cellophane, looked like a copy and was posted from the Far East. Fortunately it played quite well but as it was a gift I wasn't very impressed

I had it on video and needed it on dvd all my videos i am needing to replace to replace great thanks alot

bought this item as a christmas present for my daughter in the hope she would grow to love this movie as much as I do!

little disapointed it was a copy and it hadent specified this, but it was a good copy!other then that i have no other complaints.

Item arrived promptly and in great condition. DVD plays with no problems. Would recommend as a seller. Thanks!

This is a Star Wars lego toy and a great starter pack for young children at a reasonable price. Gets children familiar with putting basic pieces together before moving onto the larger and more expensive items of lego. Children love the small charactors and like to have more than one with a item, so this is perfect.

DVD in sealed packaging, plays fine on UK Players colours and sound good on large screen telly. Much better than our old VHS version.

This is a classic and timeless disney masterpiece. Everyone can enjoy this film, and can be watched over and over again, and b seen by your kids, and your kids, children, i watched this when i was just a kid and im 22 now, and i still get excited when i here the open music :-), a must for everyone

it was a great film my daughter loved it the beggining did stick a bit but was fine after that we'd been tryin to find it in the shops but nowhere sold it thats why we baught it of ebay

The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata is an upbeat, fun loving adventure you embark with your companions timone and pumba. The film provides a great taste of adventure and adrenaline. I recommensd this product to any walt disney lover and is a must have for any film fanatic, i advise to any one who does not have this film in there collection to bid now. Absolutely oustanding, breth away, mind Blowing.

i bought the lion king two to replace a vcr copy that got damaged for my daughter whome was verry upset because she loves the lion king so instead of replacing it with a vcr copy opted for the dvd and hope that it last as long as her old copy so now she is very happy to be able to watch her faveret movie in super quality dvd and full suround sound digital quality ,as for the movie its a disney clasic an dosnt just everyone love disney and the two characters tamone and pumba ther3 so cool a super team to totaly opesits but just make the movie wat it is

It's a great film!! My friend has been looking for it for a while now and she couldn't find it to buy anywhere in the shops and so when i saw it i thought i would buy it for her as a present :)

Having watched the film, we went to London to watch the show!

Excellent film, highly recommended for adults and children alike.

Simply stunning, This is the best movie that Disney have ever made. It is full of emotion, humour and life lessons. I cried during some scenes and I am a grown man of 24!

When a young lion cub is convinced by his evil uncle (who wants to be king) that it is his fault his father (the king) was killed he runs away in shame. Whilst in exile he grows up and builds himself a new life. However he never feels that he truly fits into where he has settled. Events transpire and fate brings him back to confront his past and claim his rightful place as the King.

I see this with a more adult theme rather than aimed at children. The story is really eptomised in the song "The Circle of Life" by Elton John. Everyone has a place in this "circle of life" we just have to find out what that is.

The ultimate Disney film!! Hilarious, sad and addictive, this film saw me through my illness and kept me laughing when I thought I couldn't! Although classed as a childrens film, there are plenty of comments that appeal to the adult audience only. Pure class and if you haven't seen this film, you are severely missing out on a piece of film history!! Buy it, you won't regret a penny!!

FIRSTLY IT EXCELLENT FOR KIDS,THEY JUST LOVE TO SING ALONG WITH THE MUSIC.GOOD STORY AND EASY TO WATCH.ONE OF DISNEYS BEST WORK

I would like to love it, but, It would not play on my UK zone2 DVD player as It was a zone1 recording, the money was refunded promptly, and i'm still waiting for a return address to send it back

i have always loved this film, the tail of little lion cub simba and his strugle when his daddy is killed by the evil scar, this will always remind me of when i was younger when it first came out in the cinema. I already had this on dvd but i have decided to buy it again for my auntie and cousin as they are desperate to get it and couldnt find it anywhere so i thought id treat them to it

This is with out a dout one of the best Disney films of all time if not the best. Its got everything for making you laugh out loud or bringing a tear to your eye.
Plus an amazing sound track.

Its a definate must have for anyone
