I decided to purchase this album because I remember my friend copied it for me many years ago and I had lost it. I liked the CD alot because it has a hip hop/rock vibe to it and it brought back a sense of nostalgia I felt many years ago. I myself listen to hip hop more than rock, but I like both genres. This is the only limp bizkit album I own as I liked the singles released at the time. I'm not really into their recent work but I do reccommend this CD to anybody that is into both rock and hip hop. Every track on the actual album has many different flavours to them. For example tracks like hotdog, full nelson, my generation and living it up are good rock sounds. My way, the one and hold on are more slow rock melodies, which are all very good songs. And there are two out and out hip hop songs which are get ur groove on featuring xzhibit and the rollin remix, which features dmx and redman amongst others. These are also amazing songs. All in all, this CD is highly recommended for lovers of both rock and hip hop. The only thing I didn't like about the album was the bonus disc!! but hey that was free with the actual album anyway lol.

This was one of the first metal albums I brought and I still think it's brilliant. Rolling is still my favourite song, this is a must have album.

I really like Limp Bizkit. Chocolate Starfish was one of my first albums when I started to listen to metal. I had the original CD before, but I lose that somewhere few years ago. I was listen to a lot of different bands. I was big fan of Metallica and I am still. Old stuff is great. Later was Iron Maiden, then Tool. Now I listen to a lot of Meshuggah. Awsome band. After all of these years Chocolate Starfish is still great and fresh. I remember this CD very well. I am a drummer and I was playing along to the tracks. It was great fun. Now I came back to it. I found my favourite songs on you tube, and then I checked how much this album gonna cost me on ebay. I found special edition for very cheap, so I order it. On the second CD there're 4 video clips. Nothing alse. You can find much more better quality on you tube, but the music on the 1st CD is great.

one of limp bizkits greatest albums, cant wait for new one after reformation, 5 stars. All the songs are very well written, and Fred Durst is one of the greatest frontmen of all time, and Wes Bordland is an exeptional guitarist.Love it.

this album is their best wrk, all in all gr8. you can listen to it over and over again and you will not get bored if ur fan. its got the classics on there and it has other tracks you will enjoy too!

this is a really excellent cd, i really enjoy listening to this as i lost my orignal one when i moved out so i was happy that i come across this.

Bought this for Take A Look Around and Rollin' which are brilliant, brilliant full on speaker bursting monsters.

The problem I have with the album is the swearing. I know it makes me sound old fashioned but some artists use swearing to enhance their lyrics or to demonstrate their background etc. A lot of the tracks on this though seem to just use swearing for the sake of it. It almost seems as if they have set out to shock and outrage with their lyrics rather than give any real meaning.

It's a shame because the actual music behind the lyrics is excellent but it puts me off listening to the rest of the album again.

I'm not a hardened rocker but this album is a great release! Everyone has heard of "rollin" so you are guaranteed to know at least one song on it! I love the fact that all of the songs sound different so even though i don't listen to it often enough to know every word, i don't get bored 7 tracks in to it!

limp bizkit they are a brilliant band and this cd proves it with the famous "my way" track and the "rollin' " track they are realy talented and if you buy this cd you will love there tallent.

yeah... cd is really good, well known greatest hits are from this album. :) Enjoy!

wow, what an excellent album. if you like a bit of heavy stuff you've gotta have this in your collection to jump up and down to. great driving music too!

this cd is great, one of his bests. i chose to but this because my mates had told me that it was excellent and the previous reviews said the same. it certainly lived up to my expectations.
each track is so different from the last.

i used to own a copied copy of this album, but someone with a *cough* not so good taste in music kindly frisbied it out of a window for me.... so being well a GIANT fan of the album i had to get myself a new copy, so i did.


this album is pretty damn good. a few of the tracks have been released, but to be honest they arent the best ones. If you are offended by erm.. swearing, this isnt the album for you, but otherwise you will love it.

after 1 week of owning the album i guarentee you will be able to recite a load of the lyrics... ask anyone who owns it to recite you some, and, well they may look a bit embarassed, but they will do it.
endless hours of listening (once you are the proud owner of a copy) means you will soon be able to join this club.

The band are a pretty talented bunch, and in my humble opinion this is their best album (closely followed by significant other) i think this is when wes borland (guitarist) was at his most creative.

If you want some idea of what kind of music it is, well its pretty hard to describe. i would advise downloading some or youtubing limp bizkit. i personal favourite (although not off this album)is break stuff.


you want this album. and even if you dont. its ebay. its cheap.

Just in general a good album, can listen to it loudly or quitely, can be relaxing when put into the background. Ideal for most occasions.

this album is okay. some great classic songs on it like rollin and my way but on most of there other which seem to be filler songs are more rap than rock. if it wasint for the middle class rap skills presented by fred durst this would be quite a good album. but i do find the intro and outro quite humorus and they really work with the album.

the reason i bought this is that it was limp bizkit and they are amazing so i enevitably bought the cd. the things i love about it is the fact that i can transfer the songs onto my pc and then put it on my ipod so i can listen to it on the go and on cd if i neeeded it. there is only 1 thing to say about the cd that's bad and that is ABSOLOUTLY NOTHING IT IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!!

I'm not a huge metal fan, but i really enjoyed this album from Limp Bizkit. They were just gaining some momentum when this album was released and you can understand their appeal when you listen to it.

The album is able to reach out to a range of fans of different genres. There's a good mix of metal, rock and hip-hop which worked really well with their sudden thrust into the mainstream.

A good album for metal/rock fans a decent one for hip-hop fans, as Fred Dursts 'flow' isn't the greatest, but it's well suited to Limp Bizkit's style.

Ben Stillers appearance is just pure genius!

I bought this CD because it was a CD i had when i was younger that needes replacing due to damage. I really liked this album and i enjoy listening to it when the children are in bed.
