I missed this special when it was on TV originally, and after recently buying and watching the original 2 series,(which were fantastic) I was left wanting more.
It is a decent catch up, but to be honest it left me wanting more again. I thought this would bring a decent ending to a brilliant programme. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. It was great seeing all the characters, almost like catching up with old friends, but in the end you almost feel like asking why did they bother!!
It would have been really nice to have seen some of the supporting characters from the original, and to see what had happened to them as well.
Maybe if there's a This Life + 20 it might be a bit more interesting.
