The Good and The Bad

Yes, at the beginning I certainly felt dishearted...what on earth was Depp doing; being a s*x fanatic? Of course, millions of women drool at the sight of Depp but I firs thought this went a bit too far, too crude. John Malkovich didn't really have a chance to shine, in fact I thought only Depp could and the wife at the end. Even though most of the film was lacking in skill and brilliance I think the ending is something that I'd purely watch again and again. The scene between Rochester and his wife is outstanding, Depp isnt known for his brilliant acting (Not won an oscar in the near 2 decades of acting?) but this does show what he CAN do. His crying (and wetting himself) were so convincing I was indeed forcing back my own tears. The make up at the end where hes lying in bed is outstanding. So my opinion is, dont be too disheartened at the beginning, as you wont be disspointed by the end scenes. ( I also dislike Depp having short hair at the end. Also wig was soo unconvincingly real; obvious fake. Its meant to be a wig, but not stand out that much.)
