  a matter of taste!

There are 4 adult males in my family, all with questionable tastes in music. Three of them like heavy rock and metal. I should have bought three copies of this disk because they are raving over it! The oldest, at 49, thinks he's a teenager again. The youngest, 18 is hooked on Zep from now on.......... ME???????? I'm happy that they're happy, I can now settle down to enjoy Will Young.
As for the quality of the disc, they say it's excellent. That to me says it's value for money all ways round.

Physical Graffiti - A New Move
Review created: 16/07/08

brilliant!!!!hands down, one of thier best. although the use of synithisisers may put people off, due to it not being the proper Led Zeppelin sound, well we all love Kashmir so its clearly worth it. this album has a few hidden gems like Night Flight and Brom Yr-Aur, not to mention Houses Of The Holy. all in all this album rocks, and is a must have for any fan of Leppelin or indeed music. Buy It!!!!!! you wont be disapointed!!!!!!!!

  THE GREATEST ALBUM EVER?
Review created: 09/05/08
by:

THERE ARE MANY WAYS I COULD DESCRIBE PHYSICAL GRAFFITI. I COULD MENTION THE SUPERBLY CRAFTED SONGS SUCH AS KASHMIR OR THE ROVER,OR I COULD GO ON ABOUT ROBERT PLANTS TRULY MESMERISING VOCALS,OR JIMMY PAGE'S INCREDIBLE GUITAR WORK. BUT I THINK THE SIMPLEST THING TO SAY IS THAT AFTER A COUPLE OF PLAYS YOU WILL REALISE THAT THIS ALBUM IS ABOUT AS CLOSE TO MUSICAL PERFECTION AS YOU ARE EVER LIKELY TO GET....LED ZEPPELIN ARE THE WORLDS GREATEST BAND,AND THIS IS THEIR GREATEST WORK.

THE BEST PROG ROCK ALBUM YOU CAN GET
Review created: 24/04/08

Unlike other Zeppelin albums, this one focuses on drive, progression and very tight playing. The main element of the album is Page's incredible guitar riffs which are continuous throuhout most of the songs. An incredible prog rock album and those who think Plants voice is not as strong as earlier albums, forget it. Infact i believe, even though its not the 'pant tightening' squeel it used to be, its as strong as ever. This is even more evident on Disc2 which contains some basic twelve bar blues numbers and Plant belting out notes you wouldn't think existed. Overall its an album of memorable guitar riffs, great singing and is possibly, their best work. If not, definitly the coolest..Kashmir, Trampled Underfoot and Custard Pie are the main highlights but disc2 is of an equal quality too.

  pip's opinion.

Bought it on vinyl umpty years ago, then on 8 track, then I think on vinyl again, and now on CD, in fact I think this is the 2nd shot on CD, think I lost the first one in a heated debate over who had what in a rather acrimonious divorce scrap. So do I like this little gem? What do you think?

Where does the seller get Acid Fusion Genre from?
Review created: 10/10/06
0 of 2 people found this review helpful.

This is an excellent album by Led Zeppelin in fact it is in, my humble opinion, their best album.
I have no idea where the person selling this album is coming from by describing it as a Jazz album or his sub-genre of acid fusion, Zeppelin where a rock band heavily influenced by the blues. They used music from many sources and belnded themether to produce some exciting and fascinating sounds.
What is acid fusion anyway? it certainly wasn't a description that Bonzo would have recognised.
