Learning Guitar For Dummies (DVD)

I purchased this dvd shortly after buying my first guitar and having no previous guitar playing experience.It took me through the various parts of the guitar then on to essentials like tuning.By the end of my fisrt half hour or so watching the dvd i had tuned my guitar and had played my first chord.I found it a very good tool and still go back to it for reference.

The DVD is just what I was after. I have only recently (12 month ago) started to learn the guitar and at the age of 53 and (based on my own perception that the older one is the harder to learn anything) I use a number of mediums, flash cards, books and DVDs to supplement and compliment my Tutor who incidentally has the patience of Job. I would have perhaps slightly preferred the Learning Guitar For Dummies book as I could have taken it to work to read, but I am happy with the DVD. The DVD is comprehensive and the advantage over the book is you can hear what you are 'supposed to be' playing. The product does exactly what it says on the tin and was well worth the money.

Most informative and easy to follow a must for all beginners everywhere.
I am a novice and two left hands let alone feet hahaha. I found it very easy and i could relate to the comments that were stated by John Chappell.
First class dvd for to use.
