An unsurpassed treasure of a comedy.
The first and second series (as with every proceeding series) of Last of the Summer Wine combines plain, accessible humour with wry wit and wisdom, wrapped up in a package of homely Yorkshire comfortability. Best enjoyed whilst reclining in your favourite armchair, with a glass of beer, or a quality port.
A word of caution however for those who are unacquainted with the earlier series of LOTSW, it contains some mildly questionable language. This, however, doesn't detract from the intelligent and witty nature of the dialogue and humour.
