this film really doesnt gloryfy murder, its realistic, and makes you think about what goes on in the world. Worth the money.

One of the best horrors of its day, this Wes Craven classic was banned in the Uk for many years until the film board gave in to public demand a couple of years ago and gave it a certified rating. Maybe it's a little tame by todays standards but it still un-nerves you and the rape scenes are head behind the cushion stuff. Classic Craven.....!
