The Last Boy Scout (DVD 1999)

This is Bruce Willis at his best, if you like the Die Hard films you will aboslutely love this. This film is full of action: fight scenes, shoot em' ups and twists and turns.

The basic plot of the film (don't read this part if you don't want to know what it is about) is about a former American Football player gone bad and the results of this. A stripper is murdered, the football player is intertangled with this, which is where a down-on-his-luck private detective (Willis) gets dragged into the football players bad dealings and a corrupt sport gaming plot.

Halle Berry plays a small but very good part in the films story. It isn't a predictable plot (I don't think it is) like the usual action films, it keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This is great Saturday night, relax in front of the telly with a good drink and munchies sort of film.

this film was the first that for me bruce willis showed he was to become hot box office property his sharp one liners stole the scenes and this was the bench mark that i would rate all future films against, the film is poignant in how it portrays sports stars as some times winning at all costs, the characters are all fleshed out not two dimensional and the action scenes are lavish in their execution, this truly is an action movie that perhaps todays movies are lacking. if you havent seen this give it a watch you will be glued to your seat, thrills and spills this has it all the only downside is the cameo for halle berry i would have liked to have seen more of her because she oozed sexuality in all her scenes the conclusion is dramatic and it keeps going to the very end

There is nothing to dislike about this film it has all the ingredients for a quality 2 hours of viewing.
quick paced, funny, a good performance from the lead characters, (Willis and Wyams), and a decent story to boot.
If you havent seen this film then you are just cheating yourself.
if you have seen this film then remember how good it is and see how cheap you can now pick it up for!.

Good DVD, Worth the watch and a few laughs along the way, Id recommend this if you liked Die Hards, lethal weapons etc!

An early Bruce Willis film (he has hair!).
Lots of action, gunfights etc.
The story revolves around him finding the killer of a footballers girlfriend.
Good entertainment.

good boy flick, lots of action and comedy. Wayans and willis are hilarious. If you like lots of action and cheesy one liners, this film is definatley one too watch.

it was a very quick delivery and i found ebay very easy to get on with. the thing that i liked was the price i got it for. if any one has not seen the film i would tell them to see it.bruce willis is excellent.his role is the right one for him.

bruce willis and damon wayans are perfect with each other in this film, there is plenty of action and some funny moments too, thoroughly enjoyable

This is a typical Bruce Willis movie. Full of wisecracks and dangerous action. The acting was great throughout with Bruce Willis playing a private detective with a marriage problem and a teenage daughter who is totally out of control. He teams up reluctantly with a disgraced football star, played by Damon Wayans, whose girlfriend is murdered by a gambling syndicate. The stakes are high and the two fallen heroes have their work cut out just to stay alive. You can almost guess what is coming, but that in no way spoils the action or the story line. It is a true triumph of goodies against baddies and you know that the goodies are going to come out spectacularly on top. Eventually. I loved the film.

Again my Husband had looked in all the local dvd stores but was having difficulty finding it at the right price, on ebay it was very cheap so decided to buy it.

had this film on video, i was trying for years to get it on dvd ,but couldnt find it ,so i was delighted when i saw it on ebay.at great value .which was an added bonus.
