LG KG800 Cell Phone

Wow Sexy or What!... You open the cute box and there in a soft pouch it is. what a beautiful design.

It takes time getting used to the touch keys but once you can navigate them you find that all the functions via the simple menus are easy to activate.
I have only had it 2 days so I can not comment on the battery performance.

The Only 3 faults with the phone i can find are :
1. There is No memory slot to increase media storage.
2. The charging point / headphone socket is tricky.
3. Bluetooth is very slow.

But, I love it.

great phone,but am against ebayers ripping buyers off with they`re own postage rate,it did`nt even cost £2 to post,but the seller made £13 profit off the postage,and it about bloody time ebay stamped this out,and also that if you pay via paypal,then the seller must leave you feedback straight away,rather than wait for feedback to be left,before leaving feedback for the buyer.

got the white one and it is so sexy and not many around in this colour, and everyone always asks what phone is that.
does everything a phone needs to and more, the cam is good, once you load pics to your pc they look great for a 1.3mp not far of the k750s 2mp cam
mp3 playback it good and loud
so if you wanna stand out from the rest and look good get one of these

ive had this phone for about 9 months now and it is useless. It has a low memory which you are unable to increase, the bluetooth is extremely slow and the camera is useless.

i wish i never bought it.

the only good thing about this phone is that is good looking.

The design is great, the fact you have no loudspeaker is annoying. But my main gripe is the fact half way through texting the menus jump from text to insert. I have to close the phone wait 30 secs and reopen to continue.
Apart from that its an ok phone dressed to look a million pounds.
Would I buy another or recommend it to someone .... NO!

What a fab looking phone - and thats about all i can say good about it - oh and the mp3 player is ok.
texting is poop - misses letters ALL the time when I know Ive pressed them, cent change message alert and on full volume cant hear it anyway, ringing volume the same even on full volume on loud setting and constantly breaking up when talking on it and once again very hard to hear!!

I have had this phone for about 8 months, I use it constantly and is currently sent of to be fixed.

Pros
It looks great, it has a not bad memory size, I usually fit around 14 MP3's on mine which gives me a good hour of listening.

Camera isn't that bad, you can take some nice pic as is the video.

Sound quality is great

Menu's I find very easy to use, I also have no qualms with the touch screen I have had no problems at all in that sense although I know a few people with these phones their touch screen has a mind of its own due to smudge marks etc.

I have never had a problem with signals or with crackly phone calls, always perfect THAT I can say is marvelous compared to alot of phones

Cons

The battery drains really quickly when you play the music or use the camera/video etc

Texting can be a problem as the keys are not that good, I usually press the wrong button or even though I have pressed a button the letter doesn't show up which isn't that great when your in a hurry.

After 8 months the slider has broken and the top screen isn't working unless pushed down, it has had to go back to the shop to be sent off for repair.


All in all it has more pros then it does cons and is a really nice phone to look at and use (at times)

I wouldn't say not to buy one because its not that bad its quite a good phone with everything you need

I got this mobile soon as it came out. LOVED the touch screen and the camera quality i found so very clear as good as my digi cam. I loved the look and feel of it, the menu was nice. Easy to work. I sold it on e-bay and miss it but wouldnt get another now.

It was a shame you had to make do with the quiet vile tones for sms insted of using your own. I like my mp3s as message tones so that was a massive let down, and no memory slot, there is another let down, no space to store much at all. But if these things were changed id deffo buy one as i did love it and rate this phone very highly.

So disappointing...I wouldn't have another of these phones if I was paid to!!
Yes, they look lovely! Everyone admires it, real eye candy. However, it is impossible to text quickly, no loudspeaker, and I was unable to see the screen in sunlight (admittedly not such a problem in the UK). Think twice before buying this phone. I found it a waste of money.

Amazing phone, looks really nice, touch screen buttons are good (not annoying like i thought they would be), data cable is included, small and light.

The negatives are:
-no loudspeaker for phone calls (although speaker for music is great)
-battery life (2 days max if only used for texting)
-can't text too quickly or all the key presses don't take
-hard to arrange files - there's a 'photos' folder, an 'images' folder and an 'other' one. pictures taken go into one folder, ones sent by bluetooth go into another and ones sent by mms go into the other one. there's no option to move files, apart from by setting them as wallpaper which moves them to 'images' - however, these pictures cannot be transferred to computer by data cable. slightly weird!

There's no memory card slot but that doesn't bother me - it's a phone, not an mp3 player.

Overall, a great phone, I got mine for £50 from eBay too which was nice!

Very nice phone for the ladies, slim and sleak,

buttons are abit tempermental to touch etc,

if slide is up and backlight goes off you after press a button on the side which is very very annoying.

other than that good phone.
good battery life etc.

I bought a black and a white, 1 for my boyfriend 1 for me. Gorgeous phone but both phones ALWAYS cut off/go crackly with any network despite showing full signal. Let's you talk for about a minute then starts screeching. The sofware is crap and so unbelievably slow, touch the pad & 5 minutes later it reacts. The camera is good however, as is the video, but the one function that is actually needed (making a call) doesn't work. And it's not the first time I've heard this complaint about the LG chocolate. Crappy antennae I guess. Anyway, if anyone wants a black/white one...lol

i like the colour and style of the phone, it is nice and sleek.i decided to buy it after i read about it on the internet. it is well worth the money paid for it and not many people have this colour either, which makes it better!!

This phone looks good but is a nightmare to use.
It's not easy to send text messages and nothing is where you expect it to be.
I only used this phone for 2weeks then went back to using my old nokia.

DO NOT BUY OFF THIS PERSON. THEY ARE A SCAMMER. I SENT THEM MY MONEY THROUGH PAYPAL AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED THE ITEM 3 WEEKS LATER!!!

Product Summary

the buyer seemed very nice, communication was good,
then i recieved the item
the picture looked like the item was in good condition
but when i got the item it was scratched to hell, andthe battery is faulty
i emailed the seller but have heard nothing back
very disappointed as the listing was very misleading

the seller described the item as new and only taken out of the box to take a photo, no when i recieved the item it was full of scratches and dirt behind the grooves of the phone , i have taken this phone to the local shop (which there was no need) and they said it has been very used) of i already new this of the state of the phone.

I liked the design, colour, shape,the touch pads on it, the free simcard you get with it and the 2 year warrantry and also because i wanted it.

The phone say's it all "Very Chick" this is the best phone I've owned in ages. It does exactley what I want it to do and it's so simple to use. I know these phones haven't had top rating's but I'm absolutley in LOVE with mine. It is indeed very girly and I think is more centered towards female buyers! But anyone who does buy one won't be disappointed. The phone itself is very stylish everything very easy to use texting is quick and phone calls crystal clear. It's very small (hand size) which makes it ideal for your handbag or pocket. It does the job of all the expensive "big phones" out there and I am 100% satisfied. Everyone comments about "how posh" the phone itself is and how great it looks. This is buy far the quickest and easiest phone I've owned! Very simple yet reliable. I would say if you haven't tried one out you don't know what your missing. There very reasonable in price and do just about everything the "very expensive" ones do besides the fact that it actually looks good in your hand! So if your looking to switch and you want something well worth the money "affordable" yet looks good try one of these......

I bought this phone so I could use bluetooth so my grandchildren and i could share pics,music and video's, sadly it only worked for two weeks and it was badly scratched so the screen was barely visible, I would never buy another one
