From digital back to 35mm film
I was a very keen amateur photographer in the early eighties living in Southampton and all the beautiful liners to get on film, I used a Minolta XD-7 and XD-5 excellent for my use. Now in the digital age I have a Pentax K200D and a Lumix FZ28 brilliant but not the same feeling of composure. So I tried to get another XD-7 and found them either too expensive or difficult to find. So Ebay provided the answer an XG-m in excellant condition. I can do without programmed, using aperture priority and manual is good enough for me.
The only thing I miss are the actual shutter settings selected in view whilst in manual mode other than that, play it again Sam.It was great inserting a reel of 35mm 200 in the back and returning to the non digital age. Being from Liverpool and living here now and all the cruise ships starting to return here
rock on tommy.
