Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 Digital Camera

This is an excellent camera.
If you look up the reviews(which are all over the net) you will find that alot of professional photographers use it as their holiday camera, still wanting to take great shots but not wanting to lug around loadsa camera equipment!! also it seems that when they are encouraging their kids to take up photography this is the camera of choice,dont let the idea that professional photographers also choose it for their kids, i take this as a great recommendation!!!

However it does take practice for indoor night shots thou. if you get the wide angle lens then it lets more light in!

As for me, I've owned mine for a year, I do amateur wildlife photography, which has been used in a professional capacity for advertising,

I love this camera, easy to understand, quick, with auto & manual settings, & on most occasions will print A4 pics & above.
What more could you need, I have even persuaded SLR owners to love it! that takes some doing when they think they have the best camera in the world!!!

Level of quality in between a compact and an SLR, this is very easy to use, has a pretty good anti-shake feature and is lightweight.

This is almost brand new.Its easy to use, great zoom and brilliant anti-shake. With excellent sharp images and great battery life whats not to like?

This is a fantastic camera especially for close up work on the macro settings, which is what I use it for. I am a professional artist and I use this camera to photograph animals close up for pet portraits. This is the second one I have bought as I dropped the last one whoopsssss!
Its a shame they dont make them anymore, it very rarely gives bad shots, not brill at speedy work, but thats not why I buy them, I use a nikon for that.

This has to be one of the best digital camera's on the market. Its light and easy to use and does the most amazing macro shots. Using the sports mode is great for flying birds or racing cars. You can also attach various lenses very very easily. The video camera part is great and simple to use and all pictures are very very good quality be it moving ones or stills.
The only thing I do not like about it is its no good for night time pictures.
I decided to buy one as I do a lot of walking and love to take photo's of wildlife and its so light to carry, unlike some where you have to be a weightlifter to carry one and of course the quality of the pictures.
I would recommend anyone to buy one especially if its your first serious camera.

It is perfect not too big camera. Also is possible to update some lenses and flashes. Zoom is fast and quiet. You can use rechargeable AA battery so you can by some AA battery everywhere if your battery is off when you really need use camera. Is also perfect to hand and easy for use but still able use your own settings for taking of pictures.

Superb camera. I used to own a Z1.
Decided to upgrade to a Z6 as it has a better zoom and macro facility and i haven`t been dissapointed yet.

I always wanted one of these (a future classic surely?) but kept getting outbid. The styling is ultra modern and is a complete break from cameras designed to look like old fashioned 35mm film cameras. Of course you either love it or hate it and some people (posers) may worry that because it does not look conventional (hence the Buck Rogers jibes) it lacks "cred". Make no mistake this is a super camera, an absolute jewel. You can load it with four 2500maH rechargeable AAs so battery life will not be a problem at all and even if these run out you can buy AAs almost anywhere. At first I thought it was a dud as when zoomed to max the screen showed an out of focus image. As soon as the shutter release is pressed halfway the autofocus makes it sharp. I also bought a x2 range extender (telephoto) and adaptor tube for this camera for a quite modest amount so getting a picture of a robin in a tall tree or surfers should be a snip. The x2 lens is heavy but attaches to the camera body, not the zoom, so no strain is put on the zoom lens at all - clever! At the other end of the range the macro and super macro are absolutely amazing, for example I was able to photograph the pores and texture of my car steering wheel larger than life. Such a shame that Konica-Minolta left the enthusiasts camera marketplace (the word amateur sounds incorrect) Allegedly Sony bought K-Ms know-how but their Cybershot is quite different from the Z6. It is not a Z7

Really good camera, bit of a delay on taking photo with zoom but that's normal. Close ups can be a bit faded but overall it's a bargain!
