Konica Minolta DiMAGE 7 Digital Camera

My first purchase of a digital camera, based on various reviews of different cameras at the time, was the Dimage 7. I was very pleased with all the functions and easy operation combined with the quality of the images. Added an IBM 1gb microdrive (again faultless). Many photos sold - see my website !! Some 3500 images were taken. Sadly, that camera suffered the humidity problem on the main chip, however, I had the receipt and to Minolta's credit I received a full refund £700+. after 2 years of use !! Impressed - you bet. With the proceeds I bought the 7 Hi model on Ebay - just the same but a lot faster when taking multiple images. That was 18 months ago. I have looked at other cameras recently and I still cannot find a good reason to change.
Check carefully when buying 2nd hand an original 7 (not the Hi) that the image on the screen/viewfinder is crystal clear and has never been in damp/wet conditions. Its an expensive repair !!

The camera I bought is fantastic!!!!!!!! Tim who I dealt with is ace too. If anyone has the chance to deal with Tim I would say go for it and dont worry about a thing.He is super fast with despatch of goods and his desciptions are spot on. Back to the camera......... what else can I say apart from its fantastic, brilliant shots every time, Auto focus, anti shake mode. auot flash, digital imaging, the list goes on and on. FANTASTIC!!!!!

it takes excelent photos
the only bad thing thing is it needs 27000 are larger rechargeable batterys and it came with 16mb card which i changed to a 1gb

A good litle camera with the ability to take photos in RAW. Not as many pixels as the more modern cameras but still produces a good image. Light in weight with a 35mm-200mm (35mm equivalent)lens with a handy sized 49mm filter mount. I bought it because with no hassle one can shoot in Infra red.
