I've just bought this on CD to replace the tape I played to death when it first came out, and I wish I'd bought it sooner. It sounds as fresh as it did 20 years ago.
Most people's only experience of Kirsty MacColl is of hearing the track 'Days' which featured in a Kodak ad. I think that's one of the weaker songs on this album, certainly the others, actually written by Kirsty, have brilliant lyrics and observations of life. 'Fifteen minutes', about fame, is even more relevant now than when written.
If you like the folk/rock sounds, and enjoy great lyrics, I strongly recommend this album. It remains my favourite KM album, even though I now have the 3-disc anthology.
