A great but forgotten album from 1968 with some great thematic songs by RAY DAVIES at his peak. Re-released a few years back as a double CD and more recently by this TRIPLE CD giving all sorts of rare tracks, demos and 3 BBC live recordings. English life described throughout with mentions of steam trains, sitting by the riverside, animal farm and the Village Green - an overlooked CLASSIC of its time.
