Peter Jackson, knows how to make great movies, and following on from "Lord of The Rings Trilogy" He has a great understanding of how & when to use CGI. The image quality is excellent & gives the movie a new lease of life. But where's the extra features that were on the standard DVD 2 disc special.
It's about time the developers copied a leaf out of the George Lucas book. By adding as much info, video ect. that they can fit on the disc. Finishing scenes and adding more to the movie.
Even films like Abys and Independence day gave you options of standard or extended version to watch from the same disc. It's not just a critasism at this disc, it's the majority. But all this aside i would recommend this to anyone.
Just a shame that their isn't an alternative ending.

) its a great film story effects and doesnt feel like 2 odd hours at all i highly recommend it . andy surkis is brill as kong he must have animal bloodlines lol high def is sooo awesome top notch . the end
