CLASSIC is one word that sums this show up. Strange thing is we all know someone like this somewhere.
So well written & great characters. I mean wouldn't you hide if you saw her coming?
Only bad thing I find is some episodes have no real story & just ends like they just written a script to fill the time. Shame as those with stories that have a completion are fantastic TV classics. I would set this show in the same list as 'One Foot In The Grave' & 'Dads Army' as classics that never die & so rewatchable. Treat yourself to some real comedy & buy the complete set.

) I purchased this Box Set on Ebay for a great price.It has brought me hours of laughter and fun.A must have DVD Set for any fan of Keeping Up Appearances.Even though the chances are that you would have seen most of these exp before it will make you laugh.Guaranteed to bring a smile to your day.A True British Comedy Classic.Highly Recommended just to see poor old Richard think to himself " What can I do to have a few hours of peace".The characters of Keeping Up Appearances are Great. Great Value for money whether you purchase the Box Set's individually or as THE COMPLETE 1-5 BOX SET. I chose to purchase them individually as Box Set's.

Fantastic, really funny
) Patricia Routledge (Hyacinth) & Clive Swift (Richard) doing what they do best, they spark of one another just like the late greats Morecambe & Wise .
Absolutely fantastic and really funny all of the cast, and the best thing its set in the Midlands :)

wonderful comedy scriptwriting, always a new hilarious situation, after seeing series 1and 2, i just had to see 3 and 4, and they did not let me down, i loved it, cant wait to get series 5, im sure will be as good as the others, if not better.
