A skittish study of snobbery & one upmanship.

This series really appeals to my wife's sense of humour as it's only fairly recently she has discovered the series on TV. I have to admit to also sneaking a few glimpses of episodes after listening to Sylvie's (my wife) giggles, chuckles and sometimes howls of laughter and I have found that it really is a well thought out skit on modern day snobbery.
A true case of "one upmanship" if ever there was one, so typical that I'm sure most of us can relate some friends, neighbours or family to the same vein as Mrs Bouquet and her long suffering husband, friends and family. Added to all this exists the original idle, sexist, "couch potato" Onslow who is always ready to give his opinions and wind-up the P.C. sexual equality brigade and her sister, Rose, a man-eater who will even make sexual advances to the local younger vicar!
One of the great British comedy series of the past 25 years, up there with Rising Damp from the mid 70s and not to be missed.
