This whole album is devine,Katie delivers songs with so much feeling in them,it just puts you in such a relaxed mood,though some can realy tug at your heart strings,but who better to do that than Katie

Brilliant! Although not for me, but for my Grandmother, Katie Melua is certainly pleasing to the ear!

This is first Katie's CD album. Style? -Jazz mixed with blues. You can feel, that latest albums sounds a little bit different, I mean singers voice. But I think this is so called "must have" CD for all fans of Katie. Because all the songs are detailed and her voice and all musical instruments sounds very smooth, warm and colourful... Like she sings in her song: "..piano keys are black and white but they sound like million colours in my mind..."

A beautiful collection of songs from a very talented artist.I am a great fan of Katie Melua and pleased to own her first CD now.

Hands up! I admit it, Katie Melua was an unknown quantity to me apart from a song or two that drifted by me from Radio 2. I was unprepared for such a talent, lilting childlike themes coupled with raunchy inebriated and soulful renditions such as 'Lilac Wine'then back again to perfectly executed vocals on demanding songs to break your heart.

A friend gave me a loan of her CD and I just couldn`t get the singer & music and the verses out of my mind, so decided to have my own copy.
I play it constantly as I drive, somehow a long journey seems to pass much quicker listening to this CD.
I would recommend this CD to all and sundry, if you haven`t heard Katie Melua on TV or radio, go to local library and borrow this CD.......
unless you are tone deaf or do not listen to the words she sings, you do not understand the world you are living in,.....or how life treats you.

I am not disapointed with this cd it is as expected from katie, i bought it as i did not get it when it came out but i have her other later cds all first class.

Katie Melua has such a wonderful voice. The mixture of tracks on this album have been chosen well. Most artists would either compile a slow and romantic album, or a fast jazzy one out of these tracks. Katie Melua has put both types on here, and it works very well.

Purchased because I like to listen to relaxing music that you can sing along with. There is nothing to dislike in the melodic lyrics.

I BOUGHT THIS RECORD BECAUSE I LOVE KATIE MELUA AND WAS CHEPAST THAN PORTUGAL.

This is the second Katie Melua cd i have purchased, i did find it enjoyable but wasn't able to rave about it in the same fashion i had with "pictures".
For myself it simply lacked that something to make it special.

I really liked the fact that the seller was nice and helpful and the cd was as stated in mint condition and plays very well.
Overall i was very happy with my purchase ad i would be more that happy to order from this ebayer again un like others one in particular.

I decided to buy this cd as i heard one of Katies songs when i was on hold to a company on the phone and thought it was amazing. I have listened to the whole thing and i am not too sure if i like it. It may grow on me.

I've bought this album previously, but it gotten itself lost somewhere between the South of England and Inverness on my travels - so I got a second copy off of EBAY, it is that good. The only album I have ever bought twice.
Melua, in my opinion, has such depth, maturity and potential as an artiste - I bought Piece by Piece originally and was so impressed I sought out the first album, I am really excited about the third almbum due later in 2007.
Melua is just like an angel singing, this is real music not maufactured disposable pop. I think her development and image is being carefully handled but the results are beautiful - the remake of Just Like Heaven on Piece by Piece is so moving, as is Belfast on this album.
I just hope rampant commercialisation doesn't spoil her or her music. Superlatives fail me - Eva, Carly, Barbra - Katy, you're there!!

I bought Piece by Piece, and loved it, so I went searching for another of her albums and bought this one, and I wasn't disappointed, just the kind of music I like to relax with, can't wait for her next album.

I already had Katie's latest album and loved that so I bought this one and was not disapointed. It really is easy listening and good in the car for long drives

Wanted this album which I have heard. I now have two of her albums, the music is very easy to listen to, really chill out music. Suitable for all ages. A good bargain in as new condition, much less than buying from a shop. I like to think I can get a bargain and it adds to the fun when you are bidding. Every item I have won have been delivered extremely quickly and I love the excitement of parcels and packages being delivered.

It's a great cd, not too frantic & not so slow as to make you miss the end by falling asleep you kept awake by wanting to hear the next track. Very soothing & highly enjoyable
