Journey - Escape (Remastered & Expanded) [Digipak] (CD 2006)

Having heard open arms sung by Joe on X-factor it brought back lovely memories of my teens and twenties. To me the music is still just as wonderful and I decided to buy this CD to replace the vinyl I lost years ago. What a trip down memory lane, if you liked any of Journey's music this is a must have for any collection.

I purchased the cd because i used to have the album on cassette tape many years ago, but unfortunately, that got chewed up by the tape deck in my first car. I was 21 yrs old at the time. But going back slightly i was actually around 9 yrs old when the group were touring, thats when i very first heard of them, because my older brother (by 10 yrs) was a fan then and still is, i listen to the cd in my car all the time (well only when alone and without hubby or my two children because then i can have it extremely loud, enjoy it more, and can sing along as well , i'm 35 yrs old now!! and still very much enjoy the sound of the lead vocalist (Steve Perry) theres just no other singer like him around, even when Mariah Carey done a copy of my favourite song Open Arms, many moons ago, (and she is a great singer) she still didnt do it as good as SP, and i doubt no-one ever will! Well love them all of course, but two other fave tracks are (don't stop believin') and (who's crying now). I just have alot of respect and praise for this group also because they've written all there own stuff, and not Karaoke'd like most do now!! and that excludes Eminem too (my main love at present). well anyway i can definately say buying the cd was the best purchase so far for me, so thanx again to the seller for a great service, and even more so, a superb cd!!.

Excellent cd a must for journey fans! If you like bon jovi or meatloaf that type of sound you will love this. Excellent driving music!
