Johnny English (DVD 2003)

As I am not a fan of Mr Bean, I approached this film with caution although my children had told me it was great. Having watched it, I had to agree with them - if only for the sheer fun of Rowan Atkinson's character - an incompetent British secret agent - more 00 Hell than 00 Heaven!
Great support from Ben Miller and Natalie Imbruglia allow Atkinson to create another comedy caricature which will live forever.
The vilain is played by John Malkovich whose french accent is so over-the-top that it works.
So fasten your seatbelt, forget about plot credibility and enjoy!

Bought it to show it to my foreign students who are studying the English language. At the end of the course, we usually watch a good film in English. The students found it great fun and so did I!

Rowan Atkinson is always excellent fun, but to take on a new angle for the might of James Bond so successfully is great. I love the quirky English humour that takes the micky of pretentiousness and pompt.

good old ronan at it again this bloke cracks me up in mr bean so i knew i had to have this one was impressed with it so i recommend it

Rowan Atkinson at his best.Playing the fool who works for the government MI6.As he blunders his way through cock up after cock up to prove that a French man is trying to turn the UK into a giant prison and no one believing him.Natalie Embrulia is the lady who helps him to expose the truth.Love conkers all in the end.Worth watching to see a speed camera blown up!

Normally our British movie's don't carry as much laughs as the U.S counerparts, but this Johnny English is great fun. Now it's not too expensive either, I picked this up for £2, which is great because my toddler son broke my dvd of it so I had to get a replacement. Buy It, Don't hesitate.

This is extremely funny nd easy to watch. Can always rely on high class comedy with Rowen Atkins acting.

From start to the end it is a funny film also has a good storyline. The characters are all good too. especially the main one Johnny English. Once the film started i had to wacth it all the way through. I have ssen it many times & still enjoy it.

This is one film where just watch it?

yes thats it dont think about it watch it? the reason why i say this is because there is virtually no storyline too it, but Rowan ATKINSON is superb the character is a talking version of mre bean in 007 form, however the film is a bit short for my liking abit more zany attitude would of worked but it is a enjoyable film, a real comedy, just buy and enjoy! 5/5 for comedy at its best!

it is such a fantastic film to watch, it has such good humour and funny bits that you find it funny all the way through, my children have watched it over and over and never get bored. excellent value for money at any price.

I thought this dvd was brilliant! really really funny and amazing well acted by Rowan Atkinson. It seemed a lot like a James Bond movie except far funnier. Loved it a LOT! Brilliant graphics, brilliant Aston Martin Cars, funny, slight romance etc. For any Bean fan, this would top it off!

A flm to watch again and again Rowan Atkinson is trying to be James Bond...Much better than Casino Royale.

Not a Rowan Atkinson fan at all, but I still had to laugh at this. I actually bought it for my son who throughly enjoyed all the silly pieces in it, but they were actually funny. A great spoof film to watch for fun.

THIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE FILMS AND WHEN OUR VIDEO GOT CHEWED, EBAY WAS MY FIRST CHOICE TO GET A REPLACEMENT , AS IT IS ALWAYS GOOD VALUE.

I bought it because I saw it in the pictures and I liked it. It was so good that I decided to try and buy it but I couldn't find it. Then I found it on ebay. I like it because it is so funny.

This is a very funny British comedy. I had seen the film prior to buying the DVD. I bought the DVD because I wanted it to my collection. It is a film you can watch over and over again. I purchased the DVD because i got it for a good price. The transaction was a very smooth one, with efficient service and delivery.

hilarious comedy for all the family!! completly diffrent to his normal mr bean role, rowan attkinson takes on the role of secret agent johnny english taking on th villain pascal savage, played by john malkovitch, in this completly diffrent and much more destructive role of the undercover agent who simply can't do anything right!! 5 star entertainment.. and for those mr bean none fans, this would be worth seeing.

this dvd was suggested to me by a friend,i wasnt too keen but my kids who are 10 and 7 loved it and had a real giggle.

A laugh out loud film. My 10 year old daughter thought it was hilarious, and so did we.
This is any easy to watch film for the whole family, although I love Blackadder, I am not a huge fan of Mr Bean so was a little wary that I wouldn't enjoy this. But there are some extrememly funny parts, especially the car chase involving a crane.
Would recommend this to brighten up a dull evening.

My son is 5 and thinks this film is so funny. He has watched it about ten times in the week since we have had it.

i bought this dvd for my children as they think rowan atkinson has only been in bean . well with in the first minutes of the film starting they were already in stiches agreat film for all the family to watch
