I am a collector of Burl Ives records and also a fan of Country & Western music.
I had a wide range of CD's but only one from Johnny Cash. This addition enhances my collection considerably. This range of his music from 1955-58 covers his best (in my opinion) recording years.
The service in supply, packaging and delivery was exemplory.

Does what it says on the box - straight down the line out-and-out raw Johnny Cash. Simple bass lines, twangy 'gittar' adn questionable tuning on the vocals. Great!

Took me back to when classic country was really classic, the DVD of Walk the line prompted flash backs in time, so I just had to have the album.

As a recent convert to Johnny Cash I bought this box set to provide me with a volume of his work. I expected to like some tracks and not others but quite frankly I listened to all three CDs straight through and liked every single track. "Cry, Cry, Cry", "Walk the Line" and "Folsom Prison Blues" are obvious stand out tracks but there are many hidden gems like "Straight A's in Love" and "Big River".
